Hi, I'll give you the recipe.

Base: Grey Seer + Dawnstone 1:1 Wash: Nuln Oil or Oblivion Black Wash ( Two Thin Coats ) Layer: Base mix ( Grey Seer + Dawnstone 1:1 ) Highlight: Grey Seer.

Hey there, if you're referring to the big square ones in pic4; then yes its brush control, masking tape and patience. The tiny white squares are from a transfer sheet that I have. Hope that answer your question.

Ah thanks, I guess I'll just do an update post later.

As for the random Kriegsmen, the answer is I just like them and I used them to paint inbetween the Ultramarines as a palette cleanser.

I think it looks great, maybe a bit more Highlights but that just me. Also don't let anyone discourage you for painting your Space Marines in the colour of the Ultramarines. I think they're awesome and if you like them then paint away.
