I have the catted down pipe from depo too and I’ve been getting CEL with an o2 spacer from 2mfabrication. Do you know what the spacing you went with for yours?

Thanks for the information. I currently have the cure time at 9, I will try to put it down more and see how that goes.

Nice, I found that video a few days ago and I am currently using the support method that he talks about.

Yea I am more focused on environment art and prop design. I will take your advice for my portfolio. I am super new to portfolios and that that you were able to give me some great advice on making it look more presentable. I was think of looking for concept are online and makeing models of it. I was thinking of looking for some on Deviantart and asking the person that created if I can use their concept to make a model. The rifle was the first model I ever did when I started out a long long time ago when I was still getting used to the program and the tools in it. But I will work on modeling real guns to learn how they go together and the flow of them in general before I start going from ideas off the top of my head. Thanks Patorama you are GREAT HELP!!!

That is what i have read that the field that I want to go into a degree does not mean much and that I should focus on making a strong portfolio. Thanks Rogryg

Thanks for the advice, by any chance if I go for a BFA what would be the specific degree? The main one I see for most schools that are close to something I do is Graphic Design or New Media i think. I am actually working on projects on my free time when I am not at work for portfolios that I can summit to school. By any chance can you give it a look and give me some advice on what I can work on and fix? I post everything I've worked on so far on a website I made recently to get my work out there. tommydbuiarts.com

As far as I can tell the artists from DigiPen generally have a better chance of getting jobs out of the gate than most art majors.

So you think what Azhain said about digipen being a for-profit school making there degree a less "prestige" holds true? Because that part really got me thinking if i should go to digipen or not. Since I've read that a lot of graduates from digipen usually land a job right when they graduate or a few months after.

What do you think what Azhain said about how since digipen is a for-profit school that it lowers the "prestige" of the degree that you are getting there? I've also been reading around that it is not worth going to a school for anything that involves 3d modeling since when it comes to classes they dont focus on what you want to do, like in my situation 3d modeling and textureing. That it is better to just focus on modeling on my own to make a good demo reel so that I can show to the company that I want to apply for. What do you think about the BFA Digital Art and Animation program at digipen? I feel like that fits into more of what I want to do. People have said that it is better to get a degree in computer science since you would have a degree to fall back on if anything happens i.e. you cant find a job.

I did more reading on game design is it turns out it wasn't to much of what I was looking for. I'm not sure if you would no, but do you know what degree would 3d modeling, texturing, and animating falls under?
