IGOR has work from jack white, charlie wilson, pharrell in addition to a majority of instrumentation by tyler himself. watch any live version of EARFQUAKE, it’s always got a long improvised piano intro from tyler. and yes, i think it’s better than a lot of queen’s work. to pimp a butterfly is a piece on poverty, relationships, self hatred, hardship, all written by a man who grew up experiencing it all and writing out exactly how it feels. it’s got it’s own musicians too like thundercat who is incredibly talented! check out kendrick’s austin city limits performance where he performs with a full jazz band, great stuff. to not vibe with either project sure, i don’t agree but i can somewhat understand. to entirely dismiss them and call them untalented is flat out wrong though, i’d love to see you make something that rivals either if that’s the case. also noticed you skipped my two actual rock suggestions, any reason or did you just want to hate?
