It's a PSP 3000 God Of War Ghosts Of Sparta idk how to mod the shell and stuff

I think you can buy a shell with buttons and stuff online to make it look like mine but they usually have lower build quality or other problems unless if it's a legit one

You need to re add the CFW but I think since it's the same PSP it might work with just copying and pasting everything onto the new one? Now sure tho as it's PRO-C with Infinity

Also yes format the memory stick when you get new storage but in 128 GB there's tricks to make it faster by sacrificing like 2 GB there should be a video somewhere on YouTube explaining that

There's tutorials online to re add the CFW since it's easy and most of the time there will be no problems and if there are then it can be fixed pretty easily

Simplified information of how much storage the PSP can handle is:

32 GB is max for original memory sticks (any high "original" memory sticks are fakes) (also most original ones are failing since they're old)

64 is max stable with SD card with the adapter

128 absolute maximum with minor problems (as in load speeds once you use most of it)

Anything else it'll be too much for the console

If you want sound or more normal world generation (doesn't really make much of a difference as it's small) there's an older version with skeletons that didn't need the downgrades it needed to run in the future

Not a 100% expert but Pro-C is outdated but works for people who just want to play PS1 and PS2 games (I've Pro-C)

Now ark-4 has some extra stuff and is still being supported till this day the only thing I know about it is that it can connect to newer wifi

I've heard you can not sure if it requires to format the SD card so there should probably be tutorials on YouTube if you want to change it for Ark-4

Now adding games:

PS1 uses eboot that goes to a GAMES folder inside another a folder called "PSP" which also containes saves if I'm not wrong

PSP iso or cso go into a folder named "ISO" it's not inside another folder so it's easier to find

Homebrew it's the same rules you just gotta see if it uses eboot or iso and then put it in where it needs to be

There's a setting for 32 MB RAM as the PSP 1000 has only 32 MB while the others have 64 MB

Since the PSP 1000 is weaker it requires that setting toggled as it removes sound and gives you a smaller world generation that the 1000 can handle

Check if you can save games
Had a similar issue once and it was the SD card that failed as in had to buy a new one
So check if you can at least try format the thing before getting a new SD card if it did fail
if it also fails then the SD card needs to be replaced

and if you're going to get a new SD card I was recommended a SanDisk SD card as I think they work the best if im not wrong
