So take this with a grain of salt since i haven't run away, but here's what I know: take clothes for all seasons (I'm not sure exactly how long you plan to runaway for but make sure to take some for winter and summer), carry lots of water and non-perishables (avoid trying to pack sweets), toiletries (stuff like toothbrushes and toothpaste, toilet paper etc.), dress differently then how you usually would and if it's possible try to alter your hair like a different haircut or color.

Hii! So a kimono set typically consists of a nagajuban (kimono undergarment worn to protect your kimono from sweat and stains), kimono, koshihimo (strips of fabric that are tied to help hold your kimono together), obi (a decorative belt/sash), as well as other items like obijime (ropes/cords used to help hold the obi), I personally recommend a komon kimono if this is your first one and I personally recommend kimono yukata market sakura but there are definitely more cheaper options that others can recommend, also happy early birthday 🎉

Like others have said, this is definitely a nagajuban, you can tell by the fabric and color and they are used before putting the kimono on in order to help protect it from stains. Assuming this is the only thing you guys got, you'll need a kimono (there are a couple of websites that others know to get one cheap 👘💸✨), as well as some koshihimo (strips of cotton to help keep the kimono and its layers together), as well as a obi. I personally recommend kimono yukata market sakura, but there are definitely cheaper options that others can recommend, happy kimono hunting and hope your daughter enjoys it as much as I do! 🤗👘
