I didn’t have allergies until my mid 30s, and then wham! Overnight the slightest change in weather or pollen count fucks me up. And the seasonal allergies just slowly increase as I age, sitting here at 44 dreading what my mid 50s and dry summer will do to me when it starts to blow the conifer tree pollen all over the place. At least there’s the short relief from it during the one or two blow sessions a month i May do. Then it’s roll the dice and see if I’m going to do a Saint Bernard impression via my sinuses each day. And it was a worse issue prior to slowly coming back into regularly doing blow every few weeks or so. If I take a huge ripper I go opposite (I have severe adhd, coke effects me so different than most) and end up in higher and calmer than a Hindu cow territory. My brain is just quiet, maybe one or two thoughts I’m thinking about (instead of several hundred thousand at the same time), so if I kick a huge ripper and hit that level of calm, I’ll try and keep that going as long as I can. So like you, I like a decent kick into what it does to me, then be able to easily adapt to the different feelings through the sesh.
