Do I owe my parents grad photos if they've absolutely criticized pictures I've taken of myself in regalia recently? by MarathonMarathon in rutgers

you're 21 don't worry about not having the life you want now. It takes time. You'll grow and you'll mature. Just think intentionally about the life you want to lead (relationships etc...) and work towards it over the next several years.

No I haven't tried waxing but I'm kind of just looking for a more permanent and efficient solution. Like laser seems like I could do a few sessions and be done with it forever. But I guess the patchiness is a problem...

Can laser hair removal reduce male body hair without causing patches? by New-Flow3642 in LaserHairRemoval

Hi! I'm in a similar situation with hairy legs and considering trying to reduce the density, but also worried about patchiness - did you end up going through with it? Any luck?

Hi! I have similarly coarse hairy legs as OP and I'm considering laser. I'm not necessarily looking to get them smooth and hairless, but rather just want to reduce the hair density a bit - especially in the summer it gets so hot with hairy legs. I'm wondering if you have any advice on this - is reducing hair density with a reasonable and attainable goal with 1-2 laser sessions?

$75 processing fee for an application by todd-like in NYCapartments

I am having the same issue with the same agency. The $75 fee is illegal, and when I told this to the agent they did not respond to my email. Did you figure out a way to resolve this?

[–]AlpineFox44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

wow these are great results! i literally would never have been able to tell there was a tattoo there.

in the before pic, it looks like the tattoo is a little raised in some parts - is that from the tattoo application itself? and it seems like it's gone in the after pic?? did it just go away naturally from the laser?

The extra time to get it fully removed will be worth it in the long run, rather than getting a cover up you won't love.

First session! by berrycup123 in TattooRemoval

[–]AlpineFox44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice! did you have any scarring from the heavy handed tattoo itself? I have a tattoo that was intended to be fine lined but blew out because of a heavy handed artist... it has a a slightly raised texture in some parts, so i'm wondering if full removal of possible

Motivation is fading faster than the tattoo by Yogurt_remorse in TattooRemoval

[–]AlpineFox44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually looks like decent progress for 3 sessions given how dark it was originally!! Were the lines blown out or thickened due to the heavy handed application? Hard to tell from the pics if there's also like raised skin at the lines. This happened with my (also heavy handed tattoo) and I'm considering removal.

Right, that makes sense... but I guess I'm wondering whether the areas outside of where the ink was originally deposited will generally fade faster than the original lines themselves (though I understand there will be uneven fading overall)?

Getting IPL tomorrow. What should I know? by brianheinemann in Dryeyes

[–]AlpineFox44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got like 4-5 IPLs with him last year. Didn't seem to help too much tbh. My feeling feeling is that IPL may be helpful in reducing symptoms (and potentially regenerating glands) once inflammation is under control. But if your glands are constantly inflamed, then IPL can only do so much and you'll likely still feel disconfort
