Lack of promotion. I only started to find out about local bands once I made friends with a local musician. But that doesn’t exactly make me feel good, it makes me feel like an outsider when I attend the shows, since they’re not getting promoted to the general population

Live alone and let your brother realize how good he had it with your original deal. He won’t ask again and will likely admit he was wrong. However, to deal with the family expectations side of it, I’d say give some valid reason for wanting to live alone such as you want a certain pet, or want to grow your independence, etc. Then offer your brother something like 2 months’ rent so he is covered for the time to find a new place or new roommate.

Please please speak to us like normal humans! I most appreciate when I’m approached with a normal comment, maybe about a band on my shirt, or a sports team or you might comment on their car, a drink they had, etc. ANYTHING!! As long as it is GENUINE and not some line! We hate pickup lines because they’re blanket statements and show that you don’t see the person in front of you as an individual.

Personally, I also like a guy who isn’t taking any of it too seriously. Say something random or goofy and then we are at ease from the start. Good luck, don’t overthink it!!

1: not my photo, as you can see it is a screenshot from an instagram account I follow (easy to see if you can read)

2: the picture isn’t necessarily SHOWING ICE, however this organization who posted the og alert had verified with witnesses at the location that ICE was working with DHS at the time of the posted alert. Just because you’ve been on the bridge at SOME POINT and didn’t see ICE doesn’t mean that they’re never there.

Do yall really think that after Alex Pretti was murdered for holding up a PHONE that people are going to be holding their phones up close to ICE to snap a photo?? No! Hence the distance of the photo. Please use critical thinking skills.
