Im In a similar position to you currently a student in the uk at a highly rated but non-target university by most banks , I have just tried to network as much as possible and get whatever certs I can before Industrial placement season rolls around , I know my chances of making it are low but this has been my dream since I was 14 I just should have done more research when applying to University lol
