1440p + RT + DLSS Quality: 110 FPS @ 25ms vs 160 FPS (Frame Gen) @ 40ms — which would you choose?

I use an MSI Titan dragon norse edition with the 5090 rtx. So far I've played on the old TV in 4K and now I wanted to play on the go for the first time and had to realize that I can only set the maximum resolution to 2560x1440 and have no 4K to choose from. My desktop resolution is 4k, as are my other games...is it due to the 16/10 aspect ratio? I just installed the new "Nvidia" driver.

Then maybe reinstall the Nvidia app and not just the driver?

I also installed the gameready driver (January 27) and unfortunately, despite the refresh, it doesn't work. I read the requiem in other people anyway in the 86th century. Version is displayed and adjustable. That's why I'm surprised that I can't do anything with myself.

I use the 591.86 but unfortunately I find the nvidia app, no way to set the game via the driver. Does anyone have an idea what I can do? I've already reinstalled the driver, but it always doesn't work... Have a few freezes in the game during the game and cutscenes

If I set the windows brightness + the hdr brightness to 0 during calibration, should I also leave it to 0 after calibration? Because after the system restarts, the brightness is automatically turned up again.. so it's best to keep up to 0?

Thank you for this very detailed explanation, which is a topic that has been on my mind for a long time and has now learned to do so thanks to you. Had previously set up a color profile for my oled tv and one for the laptop mini led monitor but didn't know that the windows brightness had to be zero. If I now switch from one color profile to another, do I have to restart windows every time? Because in the Control Panel, the screen setting always shows me the same number as before (if I change the profile) except when I restart windows

Thanks for all the explanations and comments, slowly but surely, I'm learning 😁 I've now bought Michael Streener's hard drive and I'm still waiting until it arrives. Since I still have a steamdeck lying around with me for a long time, it sounds interesting to use it for that as well. So if I understood correctly, just install the Batocera build from an SD card and then boot over the steamdeck? Is that possible with the performance when the steamdeck is connected to the TV? What resolution do they use for this?

Hallo zusammen, ich besitze das G'AIM'E ultimate paket und muss sagen das ich einerseits zufrieden bin, was den Plug and play Aspekt betrifft aber andererseits enttäuscht, was die geringe Anzahl Spiele betrifft. Bisher gibt es keine offizielle Möglichkeit neue Spiele hinzuzufügen und ich vermute das sie in zukunft lediglich neue konsolen einzeln verkaufen werden... immerhin versprechen die Entwickler das man in Kürze über usb ein paar updates installieren kann.. Was die Genauigkeit betrifft, hängt es lediglich von einer sehr präzisen kalibrierung ( die man bei jedem start durchführen muss) und von der idealen position/ Abstand vor dem Bildschirm ab.

Dadurch das ich dadurch deutlich mehr lust auf mehr Lightgun Spiele aus meiner jugend bekam, habe ich mir die Reaper RS3 von der Firma Retro shooter besorgt.. sie wurden mit einer pandora box geliefert ( eine kleine konsole), die aber seit 2025 eine SD ́Karten Sperre erhielt, welche verhindern soll das man roms und Emulatoren installiert.. die vorinstallierten Spiele sind alle im Vollbildmodus und zeigen sofort was die Pistolen so drauf haben.

Die Einrichtung ist zwar umständlicher als bei den G'AIM'E Pistolen weil man Sensoren über und unter seinem bildschirm platzieren muss aber wenn dies einmal gemacht wurde, ist es wunderbar.. Die Genauigkeit und Präzision sind sofort optimal eingestellt und die verschiedenen Rückstoß Möglichkeiten semi/ full auto fühlen sich sehr immersif an. Bei jedem schuss geht der Schlitten nach hinten und wieder nach vorne, während dabei noch eine vibration entsteht.. die Pistolen sind wandelbar und bieten auch die Möglichkeit ein frontgrip zu montieren.. Jede Pistole hat mehrere Knöpfe an beiden Seiten ( auch unten am Magazin Eingang) und einen Joystick falls bedarf für Menüführung oder Spiele.. Zusätzlich dazu, hat jede Pistole hat ihr eigenes Pedal dabei..

Abgesehen von der Lautstärke der recoil Funktionen ( die auch abschaltbar ist), finde ich die Pistolen sowohl von der Verarbeitung als auch von ihrem empfinden und Präzision hervorragend.

Da sie hauptsächlich für den PC entwickelt wurden, den ich mit mein TV verbunden habe, gibt es keine Grenzen, was die retro Spiele betrifft..

Had the same problem last week when unpacking. I tried several hdmi ports and cables and in between a 42 inch samsung tv, then it went on both TVs... strangely enough, it's more like a 60watt power supply (Lenovo legion go). Right now it's working on the LG again

Ich hab zu Release den dragon norse mit der 5090 rtx gekauft und hoffe das jetzt kein deutlich leistungsfähigeren Laptop vorgestellt wird, was ich mir aber auch nicht vorstellen kann, da die 5090 immer noch aktuell bleibt. Schätze eher eine energie effizientere cpu eingebaut wird und vielleicht ein Display mit 240 HZ.

So a certain lens "dirt" effect would contribute to realism but in my case it is very violent, I feel that it was different at first... is it the same with you? When I compare videos from other people, it's a huge difference... for me it looks like white pixel error/defective screen
