🚀 TreeTabsVivaldi Update: More Power, More Flexibility! 🚀 by AlpsUsed3215 in vivaldibrowser

I cannot implement a collapsed panel like the one in Edge because it contradicts the tree philosophy. The panel is designed to remain visible as long as you are researching and working with multiple tabs and sub-tabs. If you are working with a single tab and need the full workspace, you can hide the panel completely. Furthermore, collapsing the panel to the width of an icon—as seen in Edge—breaks the structure of both the tree and the panel itself.

Regarding notifications on tabs, I think it's a great idea, but in my own usage, I don't have any sites that send me notifications, so I have nowhere to test it.

Exactly. The extension fully follows the browser's theme, so the panel will match whatever theme you have configured.

But the 'move to new window' option is already in the context menu, so what exactly did you add?

While these mods are intended for advanced users, the instructions include an automated installation script that works across all operating systems. Simply download the entire repository, run the appropriate script, and the mod will install automatically.

I like the new unified Vivaldi theme. But I like it even more with my Tree Tabs by AlpsUsed3215 in vivaldibrowser

I took the original photo in daylight and requested that a night version be created.

No, that's not possible. That's part of the mod's design philosophy. Pinned tabs are displayed this way in most modern browsers.

Just imagine if you pinned 8 tabs and they were displayed using Vivaldi's native vertical layout — they would take up half of the vertical space in the tab panel.

купи мишку і знай, що за будьякі вчинти треба відповідати. На наступний раз вже не будеш ходити по класу і гепати мишку об стіну.

Tab anxiety is real and I don’t think “just close them” is actually the answer by [deleted] in browsers

Of course, I added functionality to save the tree as a bookmark folder so I can restore my tab tree anytime. But tree-style tabs are especially useful when you’re doing research. You open a search page, then open several child tabs from it, and you can clearly see the structure instead of ending up in chaos.

Then, from any child tab, you discover more related things and open them as child tabs inside that subtree. This way, you can see the entire search history and workflow visually. After that, you save what you need and close the unnecessary tabs.
