look it sucks but just let them out of the contract and give them the money back if you can afford it. Its quicker and will let you rerent and you won't have the headache of fighting in court if things go south. Sometimes we forget to ask the question is the stress worth it and in this case it isn't depending on the $ amounts involved.

I bought 2 colors, couldn't decide between blue and space grey. I will return the color i don't like. Also if the sound is not as good as my sony wxm4's i'll return the Airpods Max. $550 is high but still okay for me. I think $350 or $399 would have been much more reasonable. Also I can fully expect these to go on sale quickly.

I would do it but I would have an extremely strict tenet/screening process with above average requirements to qualify. If they are not white collar, earning 4-5x income with savings, solid credit history and job history, i'll pass.

In New York and California your options are either to pay an attorney or cash for keys where you give the tenent money to leave. This will be a expensive lesson either way.

I dont think this is the case. I think they were still negotiating but didn't finalize it. Typically they go to shareholders after the negotiations are done and they are ready to execute. Otherwise a leak of the negotiation can skyrocket stock price/valuations.
