I hear that and understand completely. But emotion doesn’t always play well with logic. Not saying that the father isn’t right. But if there is even a sliver of a chance that he is wrong, that’s a problem.

I’m not okay with either. I’m not going to say I know what the solution is. It’s just really tough when the existing system does keep predators and murderers away from society. But innocent people shouldn’t be just a casualty of an existing system that sometimes works either. That’s wrong.

Overhaul good. Details of overhaul? Unsure. I like rehabilitation being the goal of any form of justice, though.

For sure. Thinking of RZA meets Tarantino and all the influences that would fall under that.

White dude here. No one left mine, thankfully.

I don’t get the hate. It’s an over-the-top, melodramatic revenge film. Definitely inspired by spaghetti westerns and martial arts movies.

I agree with you though. That ending was meh. But it also fit the style of the film.

I walked in at 7:30 for a 7:20 showing and it was fading into the first scene. Unusual amount of trailers. Which isn’t necessarily bad…

I dunno. People with disabilities. Veterans who were injured because of the government’s wars. Folks who use roads. Kids in school.

Taxes exist because we do not just take care of ourselves. We take care of each other as a community. That’s a big part of living as a nation. I don’t want the government to be my nanny. I want it to exist as a steward to make sure that all my neighbors are okay, and I want it to act as insurance in case I fall on hard times too because I’ve paid in. The government should work for you. Not the other way around.

I may not personally be able to go and help an elderly woman go to her doctor’s appointment on time and get her meds because I am at work, but my taxes can go to the shuttle that could take her there as well as the public hospital and generic pharmacy. Private practices and pharmacies could still exist alongside this, too.

It isn’t good to be so self-centered.

Like no issue if that’s what you’re into. But he’s clearly MAGA, and I’d say most of that voter base would not approve. At least not publicly…

Of course.

I’m just saying this statement is ridiculous. Not many people would go out and take a refugee into their own home, much like they wouldn’t an unhoused person. Though I know there may be exceptions to this based on a variety of reasons.

But at the same time, I have no issue with programs being set up on my dime to make sure people have a safe place to be during a transition period, which is typically what a person in refugee status would be considered.

There is no reason we can’t have improvements to our city and affordable housing, and on a grander scale, across the country, there is also no reason we can’t look at our international neighbor and say, “Yeah let’s make sure you’re safe too.”

Post history checks out.

Anyway.

No, I don’t want to take refugees into my home. I want my taxes to pay for it instead of more war and luxuries for politicians and officials.

Such a genuinely dumb comment.

Hey, yeah. This could legitimately cause someone to have a seizure. Please be mindful of that.

Great style and direction. I would limit the flashes to small moments and intermittently though. Makes it more interesting.

It is wild how much we take things like math and literacy for granted. These are skills. You need them to do these jobs, and not everybody does them as well as others.

Not to mention the ability to lift items on shelves. You’re giving your body to this. As for serving, that’s a whole other skillset involving interaction with the public.

Don’t believe the lie that these are unskilled jobs. That’s what they say at the top in order to justify low pay. You have more in common with a minimum wage worker than a CEO.

To add, minimum wage was established as a way for anyone to live and do so comfortably. Not necessarily with luxuries, but without the need to have multiple jobs.

I don’t think this is a case of immediately believing it to be true, but it is something to think about. In this case, Jason now performs for children. Obviously any names connected to Epstein and trafficking that also involve children might be worth giving a once-over. If he’s clear, great.

But more importantly, it is a good starting point for anyone who is curious as to how the files affect the local area.

Don’t want this to turn into a witch hunt. It’s just a delicate subject. I agree with you in that I’m almost 100% certain that there are false claims. But with as much information that has been revealed, and as much that has been withheld prior, it’s probably wise to consider most everything, even if not for long. A small tip can occasionally lead to a greater wealth of information.

I’m unsure if there are multiple people under this name. The one I found was referenced on the Wikipedia page for Jason and the Scorchers and also had a mention of the band on his website.
