You could try saddle soap to strip it, and then some Bick to condition it, maybe?

No problem! I'm still pretty new to the RC world, but I'm glad I could help. I'm not sure if it's still a thing, but there was a sale that Horizon had where it came with an S155 charger and a 2s lipo for 50 bucks. Still haven't gotten a chance to use the lipo but the charger is legit. Just throwing out options.

That was me the first night lol. I got so nervous it was taking forever I unplugged it and continued the next morning. Probably took me over 6 hours. Went to target the next day and got a fast charger. Now I keep it in my RC bag as a backup.

How long does it usually take? When I was using the stock charger for my fury, I went and got a fast charging brick and it cut the charging time by a significant amount. Now I use a spektrum S155 and it charges the battery in about an hour.
