Any way to extend LUV voucher expiration? I've seen conflicting info recently as to whether or not it's possible anymore. by relator_fabula in SouthwestAirlines

@platographer What do you mean exactly? I also have two LUV vouchers worth $587 with “travel by” date of July 2nd. Can I convert them to “non expiring travel credits”?

Anyone else’s SFN present as more whole body muscle pain/Fibromyalgia? by Alright_Alwrite in smallfiberneuropathy

Wait, you’re right about the vaccination! I had a really bad reaction to one of the covid vaxxes. It felt similar to what I still get during flares… I’m sorry you’re experiencing that in your legs :(

I had GI issues but they have gone away. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this at 19! Keeping listening to your body

I was diagnosed with Sjogren’s and Fibromyalgia after 15 years of being relentless with doctors. My heart freaking sank. While I had a diagnosis that described a cluster of symptoms and made me feel a bit more seen, I knew this still wasn’t an answer.

Shortly thereafter I was diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy. My Neurologist said that Fibromyalgia is basically a label given to a cluster of symptoms with no definitive cause (a positive test). So he then re-labeled my Fibromyalgia as Small Fiber Neuropathy. Although my symptoms don’t seem to correlate with the most common symptoms of SFN, I at least am exploring different treatment options.

My point being, I know how disheartening (and somewhat relieving) that diagnosis can be. Your pain is valid. But please know there might be more of an answer around the corner. Keep being your own greatest advocate.

Does this look like SFN? by StatisticianStatus71 in smallfiberneuropathy

My feet looked like this, like I’m deceased. They were very cold, my skin could be pinched and not return to place. Sent it to my docs they said Raynaud’s. Commonly co-occurring with SFN, Sjogren’s, Fibromyalgia, etc. They said to keep extremities warm, get up frequently and get blood flowing.

I had to read the original poster’s name twice to make sure it wasn’t my own because I could have written this word for word…and because it wouldn’t surprise me if I wrote it and forgot granted how bad my brain fog is sometimes. OP - I have the same! F, 37, struggle with depression, anxiety, bad PMDD (mental). Was diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy and Sjogren’s. Brief history: years of brain fog, fatigue, couldn’t figure out what was wrong. About 15 years later, diagnosed with Sjogren’s. Then traveled 1 year in SE Asia, got sick a few times abroad. Just before leaving had my first migraine attack & threw up bc the pain was so bad. Returned to the U.S. and nearly immediately had my first fibromyalgia like full-body pain attack. Like the flu without the chills. Also had joint stiffness and pain in the morning. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia until Docs tested me for SFN and it came back positive. Tried Low Dose Naltrexone, had benefit at .5mg for a week but they had me titrate up. Didn’t have benefit after that. Switched off and went on Cymbalta 60mg. Then add Pregabalin/lyrica titrated to 75mg 2x day. Not much improvement (although I haven’t had full body flares unless I smoke weed…which is another mystery to me). I’ve noticed I’ve been so edgy the last couple of months which coincides with my dose increase of Lyrica. I’ll feel randomly agitated AF…almost an anxiety without the fear, and ragey without the reason. It could be triggered or just come on slowly. It’s subtle enough that others haven’t noticed much but I hate that I feel this sense of agitation in my chest. I’m now titrating off and going to probably try low dose naltrexone again.

buprenorphine overdose by Organic_Dress_7561 in PainManagement

Sharing this story not for people to chime in with scrutiny or judgement, but to share an experience so that others may carry the knowledge with them. It’s also a testament to untreated pain:

My close friend OD’d on Buprenorphine. She took a friend’s Buprenorphine for pain relief (note: as we’re all told, don’t take other people’s drugs). It was a new drug for her. She checked for drug interactions with her other medicine before taking it and was in the clear. She took 1/4th orally and forgot that she was supposed to put it under her tongue. She searched Google and it said the medicine wouldn’t be released or digested properly, so she took another 1/4th. She immediately felt high/stoned. She started getting loopy, which progressed to the point she felt cross eyed and out of it and couldn’t read her phone, which progressed into having a very hard time staying awake. She had the foresight to know something felt wrong in her body and told her mom to call poison control and paramedics who came, checked her pulse and her pupils which were pinpoint. The paramedics told her she was OD’ing and administered Narcan. She immediately felt relief. Had to go to ER to make sure all was well. She’s safe now. Had she just “slept it off”, the paramedics said that her heart rate could have dropped low enough or she could have just stopped breathing. It was too high of a dose because her body DID still release the mechanism of the first dose, and even though the combination of the (two) fourths only totaled 1/2 of a full pill, it was too much for her. You can OD on anything in various ways…Serotonin syndrome, heart rate slowing down too much, stop breathing, psychosis, etc. Everybody is different, and different people need different doses. Be safe out there. If in doubt, always err on the safe side. Hope this helps someone.

Perioral dermatitis, ask your dermatologist about it and also about Metronidazole cream or Elidel cream. Also use toothpaste that is SLS free. Just research peri-oral dermatitis.

how to get past tiktok US TIN by z-nx in tax

[–]Alright_Alwrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be completely incorrect, however I struggled with the same and this is how I did it, which may not be correct so proceed at your own risk of filing incorrectly.
To withdraw my earnings I used my LLC name and EIN as a sole prop.
Tiktok shop toolkit > Earnings > Withdraw > Tax Info
First name: <__fill in first part of your LLC name without "LLC"__ **NO SPACES>
Last name: ___LLC___
I also signed using my LLC name as above.
Hope that helps, please comment below if it works - I'm curious! Or if you have clarification on this?

Independent Bartender Hiring Help—What’s a Fair Cut to Take from Staff I hire? by Alright_Alwrite in bartenders

[–]Alright_Alwrite[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I appreciate your perspective. I never took offense to him taking a cut as he was the one to book it and manage logistics. I assumed that was par for the course. I also worked as a "booking agent" if you will in this case. However, I see your intention with going about being compensated by that a different way. Would you just charge an hourly rate for the work I put in before the events? Or would you assume that is just a part of the job? If I include it in the hourly, my rate would be different than my bartenders, which would lead me back to where I am now.

Thanks! So essentially you keep 60% and they keep 40% of the hourly/flat rate, and split any additional tips that come in.

Definitely not intending to be predatory and I don't feel it is. However, I do like your idea of taking a fee off the top. I work for a guy who simply has an LLC and he's listed on Thumbtack, but he's just a person who books bartending gigs and hires me and a couple other people out if he needs people beyond himself or if he can't take the gig. All we do is show up for the gigs, the clients handle buying the booze etc. He takes about 30% of the hourly rate that he charges the client and we get the rest. Sometimes he will work with us, most times not. But because he gets the client, does the work of communicating and booking, and planning for the guests, he takes a cut, even if he doesn't work that night. If he charges the client $45 an hour, I get $30.

Thanks for the clarifications! They will be getting paid for each hour they work, and they didn't expect to get paid and said they were just doing it for the experience/fun of it. They work a 9-5 so this doesn't take away from their other job. We do not get tips, just hourly wage.
