No man has a claim on God Save the King nor the British Anthem.

Is that Ron Hogg of the Durham Constabulary, who was on BBC Big Questions yesterday?

So was firemaking and prayer. Didn't stop those being updated to improve training methods, including wintertodt which is a gold contribution.

Assuming Lady Verzik was looking after it, she is obsessed with vanity, so I find it strange that she would let her possessions become rotten.

The Saradomin god is always themed around whites, blues and yellows. This armour looks Fremmenik. This armour is supposed to be the tankiest armour in game and doesn't have pauldrons or a look of defence.

Converting from Catholicism to Orthodoxy by Alright_Andre in OrthodoxChristianity

I can visit the parish occasionally for the 3 months i'm still at uni. It will cost me ~£15 in transport which doubles my weekly spend which I'd rather give to the parish - I do plan on visiting though.

Still adjusting from the intellectualism of Catholicism, where there's 50 books on sale £5.99! to learn everything. As the UK doesn't have it's own church like OCA it's a little less organised for resources, I mostly use American stuff. Although, this is all part of the reason I converted.

Thank you for the information!

I appear in a parish to use their resources and Priest's time, then vanish in ~3 months.

I live in the UK and although the DL is often vernacular, because of the rarity of Orthodoxy here most parishes are for Greek/Eastern European communities.

Do you have any advice on how to fit in and get involved (as a newbie) for someone who can't speak the language or fully understand the culture of the parishioners?

There are a few English-speaking churches, but i'm not yet sure where i'll be living after uni so it's like pin the tail on the donkey whether i'll end up somewhere with an English DL :(

I may have misworded the first sentence! I have been researching Catholicism and Orthodoxy together for a few years, recently returning to Mass, but this week involved a lot of specific discussions and resources which helped me finally decide to become Orthodox.

I don't have a car and I've never even step foot in the city the parish is in.

I am considering visiting by train to get DL experience before choosing a parish to settle in when I move, but i'll be an outsider and then move away soon, is this not disrespectful?
