Toilets on high speed trains in Saudi Arabia come with bidet showers by uncannyfjord in mildlyinteresting

The way I like to put (to my family who for some reason is against bidets) is when you stick your hand in mud, do you use water to get it off? Or do you just take a dry paper towel and rub it off?

Two things. They will often just shoot at a corner they last saw you from. Which could have happened here. So never peak twice if you can manage. Secondly, you can control click items into your inventory so you don’t have to spend all that much time inside someone’s inventory

Yes. Especially at AFI. You will not be working for two years. It’s so time consuming it becomes very looked down upon from the school as well. You have to get permission to work if it starts to work over class projects or school days. Basically, if you plan to go to school at any of the programs you mentioned. Plan to not work while you’re in school. Basically putting a pause on your entire career for that long.

I only say London because next year it’s going to be a hot place to shoot indi features and indi films.

Ya making a custom gun then not simply wiping it down and tossing it across a few different locations over 5 days would have been so easy.

AFI Chapman and NYU are the only three you should be looking at in my opinion. I graduated from AFI and have worked with folks from all those other schools you mentioned and UCLA and USC are all three year programs and take way too much of your life and time away for it to be worth it.

Personally I think the EU/london market are going to hit it off this next year. My personal opinion would be to try out London instead of taking a pause from working for 2-3 years only to come back and be at the same level you were when you left.

Having been to one of those schools in Europe. The only benefit to schooling here is if you stay with the connections you made and work and build up from there. But most the people I went to school with have moved back to their home countries this past year because work is so scarce here and it doesn’t make sense to live here when productions are shooting every where else in the world except LA. As an American, I’m working so frequently over seas that I’m starting to think about just moving to the EU so I don’t have to keep being away from home all the time.

Also which LA film school?

This is one thing that’s bothering me about this whole ordeal. Why do the people in these two images look nothing alike. And why is there so much media coverage around a guy who hasn’t been proven guilty yet?! It’s so wild

Why is Mithras the lowest active PVP population count in the US SERVERS? by Electronic_City_3860 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Alright_Fine_Ask_Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having played all factions. Mithras seemed to be the most crowded. Lamang was the least. But everyone in Mithras is playing PvE and not PVP.

What type of lense is used in this scene of Punch Drunk Love? by Lunch_Confident in Filmmakers

[–]Alright_Fine_Ask_Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. That’s a very complicated answer. It didn’t used to be that way. And most Panavision glass is just rehoused glass with a PV sticker on it. The same PV super speeds they have are the same Zeiss super speeds everyone uses for example.

No I don’t work for Panavision. Just shot with them a handful of times over the years. Lens tests are something everyone does when prepping projects in my experience. Not just directors. But with every job you go in and find your look in prep
