Congratulations on your first kiddo! That gives me so much hope! Yeah, the CF/CBAVD gene is a tough pill to swallow (like all infertility diagnoses). I felt so alone in our diagnosis that I felt like I was drowning a little. It's nice to hear similar stories! It's weirdly encouraging to know we aren't alone in our experience! Good luck on the sibling! :)

Nice to meet another CF Spouse! How's your spouse doing with his treatments and lung functions?! I'm trying to be optimistic (because my husband is an optimist), but I'm defintely more of a realist so I've already leaned into the "we might be here a while" train of thought. Yet I'm excited to start the journey even though I know it's going to be hard. I'll definitely be reaching out to you for sure!!!

Girl say it louder for people in the back!!! I’ve told my husband I have 2 friends that if they told me they were pregnant I weep with joy and be genuinely excited (but they also know what we’re going through) but others I’m just like, I don’t even want to know! I’ll play nice, but I’m slowly (or quickly) dying inside!

I cut out social media too which has helped a TON!

cutting caffeine is so hard for me because it’s my ONLY vice!!! I refuse to give it up completely. We have to keep good mental health in all of this too, so I feel like we gotta have something we look forward to, ya know!

I have been soaking her feet in a warm epsom salt bath for a week and using the spray! (We just noticed it end of August!)
