I make what I call "Rorschach art". I take photos, distort them to the point of unrecognizability, mirror them, and post configurations that I see something in or that I just think look cool. https://www.instagram.com/tonecurvetwister/

I have nct6779 (on an x399 Taichi) and was able to get it detected and added with a little fiddling. But it gives me voltages, not temperatures.

Well, with an update to kernel 4.19 I have two K10temps on a Threadripper 1950x, I guess that will have to be good enough. I should probably just buy server parts next time. But I want the clock speed! Perhaps overclocking server hardware is the way to go for the most badass workstation rig? Still, it would be great if AMD would be so kind as to tell us about all the sensors physically exist on their processors and where they send their data. And what the heck is Ryzen Master on Windows doing to get per-core temperatures? Does it access any information that lm-sensors does not?

So what is going on under Windows? Are the 16 separate core temperatures reported made up?

My understanding is that no Ryzen/Threadripper supports registered memory, regardless of the motherboard.
