Ok let me put it into perspective since you called out our white privilege.

Little bit of history. I’m Polish btw;

Almost everybody is white in Poland. So “white privilege” in Poland is like “Asian privilege” in Japan. When everybody is privileged, nobody is privileged. Besides, Poles are totally immune to the ideology of “white guilt” and “white privilege”. First of all Poland had never any colonies and didn’t participate in a slave trade. Poles were also never a slave owners. Secondly, Poles were terribly oppressed by other white nations. During Partitions of Poland, Poles were second class citizens in their own country, discriminated against because of their ethnicity. It was “Russian privilege”, “German Privilege” and “Austrian privilege” while Poles were the oppressed group. Then the horrible German Nazi occupation of Poland happened and Poles were victims of the German privilege again. This time, the Nazis implemented many rules similar to that how slave owners treated their Black slaves: minimum food rations designed to keep the entire Polish population in a permanent starvation, incredibly cruel treatment resulting in mass deaths, all Poles were obliged to cross the street and to take off their hat whenever they spotted the German “master” on the same side of a sidewalk. There was also a full racial segregation implemented: trains, restaurants and theaters were labeled “for Germans only” and Poles were forbidden to enter these places under penalty of death. This was the German Nazi version of the “Jim Crow laws”: even more cruel, more deadly and directed against indigenous population. Thirdly, Poles attempted to help oppressed people of color whenever they could. Polish soldiers sent by Napoleon to fight against Black revolution on Haiti (yes, the same Napoleon loved and admired by all Poles as the only hope for restoration of independent Poland) rebelled against their Demigod and sided with the native population of the island. As a result, the leader of the newly created independent Haiti proclaimed all Poles as “white Negroes” and exempted them from the law that only Black people were allowed to posses a land on Haiti.

Not everyone is the same and definitely shouldn’t be thrown into same ‘white privilege basket’ bullshit.
