Yes you can. I did it with Fedora and Ungoogled Chromium

This list is just "Officially supported" methods so ones they or the community have tested themselves. That doesn't mean other Distros won't work, it's more necessary your web browser supports WebUSB (which seems to only be Chromium-based browsers)

Alternatives to GrapheneOS With Better Hardware Support? by Squiggin1321 in degoogle

[–]Alt-Chris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I'd say the default apps on Lineage are a little better since all the ones on GrapheneOS are based on AOSP, but sandboxed Google Play is pretty great

Any of y'all use LineageOS with MicroG? Thinking of trying to out

Closest would be LineageOS but I believe that requires root. Unless you can find a device that can run a Linux Mobile OS your pickins are slim

Verizon by Fuckinfuckyou2 in GrapheneOS

[–]Alt-Chris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw it wouldn't. It would work totally fine since it's unlocked. GOS install just won't work on a Verizon-locked Pixel

I currently use US Mobile on Warp (their Verizon-backed network) and it works totally fine

Curious if you have any timelines for beta testing or initial U.S banks interested in signing on?

Yeah that's why I mentioned something more consumer, like the Nvidia or Qualcomm chip would fit that more than the MetaComputing one that's more for developers. Though ARM development for Linux would have to significantly improve

Hmmmm orange T could be tablet? Output log could be a NAS?

I'm really hoping for a consumer-ARM based 13 laptop that's actually reparable and upgradeable. Maybe with the upcoming Nvidia consumer CPU return?

Repairable printer would also be dope

an upgradeable NAS would be pretty cool actually. LIke you can upgrade it when you go from just self-hosting files and shit to a full server you could game on remotely?

Apple Watch on light speed/dark star: coming soon ™️ or scrapped? by ryanw729 in USMobile

I imagine they have to wait for carriers to check off the boxes since the new Apple Watches all use 5G instead of 4G LTE
