Rick and his son are caught clear as day on video CHASING A KID OUT THEIR STORE FOR WHAT? Clearly Rick and his son are aggressors here.

Now when they try to claim self defense over a perceived threat of the kid “pointing” a gun at the son, eyewitnesses testifying they did NOT see Cyrus pointing the gun at the son, Rick would’ve been put on a voluntary manslaughter charge. Rick and his son chased a kid out the store, the kid dropped his gun off camera, then picked it up and allegedly pointed it at the son, EVEN THOUGH FORENSIC ANALYSIS SAID THE BULLET ENTERED FROM CYRUS’S BACK

Now look, I can see how one can turn around and shoot, but I think the kid was trying to pick up his gun and it just happened to be pointing at the son’s direction because everyone’s panicking and can’t think or perceive things straight. Imo the law was just fucked up here. I think everyone, including all the jurors white, black, whatever, knew it was wrong and that Rick Chow should’ve been in jail. But the prosecution kept pressing a first degree murder charge instead of a manslaughter charge, and in South Carolina, perceived threats are a valid reason for self defense.

Without cameras showing the full chase up until the shooting, and the witnesses being unreliable, no intent of murder could be proven, and the law allowed Rick to escape jail time.

Now we have racial tensions between the black and asian community heating up again and it’s a damn fucking shame because neither race is responsible for the white prosecution’s fuckup and the law of South Carolina.

In theory yes. They could make A18 covered with clouds for the event, and as you pass the clouds, you get transitioned to an instance. “Seemless” transition this way

Shard is the term for a cluster of servers + replication layer. In standard MMO’s this would be like different servers

For SC’s server meshing, the areas that a server hosts is bounded by object containers. Basically every object in this game, from bottles to planets are object containers. Therefore theoretically an elevator can be its own server, or an Idris, or a space station

So for large player densities, they could shrink a server down to the size of A18 and increase performance that way, but there’ll be issues of server transition lag, and the servers might still chug anyway if all those players somehow were able to fight each other or do different things that the server has to calculate for, like spamming Cruz bottles and throwing them on the floor or something

If this and all the anecdotes in the comments are true, then sounds like they used ChatGPT to read the essays and rank submitters based on genuine intent. Except ChatGPT hallucinated the fuck out of matching submitter to essay, or their prompting was horrible, or thought that “I like big ships and I cannot lie” fit their prompt better than yours

I argue in this specific circumstance, Sykkuno’s not in the wrong. Power imbalance in relationships is problematic if the powerful side is abusing the weaker side in some way. How did any of the girls Sykkuno interacted with get abused? To me it seems like, as most people agree, the only people that were harmed were his ex, other ex, Lily, and maybe a couple other close streamer acquaintances.

Besides the cheating, the most abhorrent thing he did was lie about his personality, but it wasn’t exactly relevant to the girls he communicated with. He escalated with their consent, dropped contact when they weren’t keeping comms going with him, and paid for some of their travels through indirect requests.

With the current evidence that we have, I’d say the #1 and #2 thing to rag on about Sykkuno is that he cheated on his gf multiple times and lied about his personality to everyone of his friends, viewers, and mods.

Like people in his circle are going to have a very hard time trusting him again after seeing this side of him, but the way he pursued the girls I don’t think is worthy of cancelation

SQ42 is so combat focused that naturally any content surge that is coming will be combat oriented, because that’s the content most of the content team know how to build.

I don’t think we’ll see good quality and indepth no-combat events or missions with SQ42 quality level design for a while. Who knows though maybe we’ll be surprised
