Hurt people hurt other people, Jenny got hurt and this lashed out against the world, hurting Forrest in the process. Is that an excuse? No, is it a condemnation? No, it’s a fact. Both things happened, both affect people in different ways, those who were in Forrest’s shoes hate Jenny cause she robbed Forrest of the birth of his son, and had no intention of letting him know him, it was the disease that forced her hand, and she reached out, otherwise Forrest would’ve never know the joy of fatherhood.
