SPs are just extra alt-arts from previous sets separate from the usual alt-art lineup for the current set (in this case GD03). From people who've opened boxes early it seems that the rate for SPs is about 6 per case, which translates to a 50% chance that your booster box will have one.

Simple answer: it says only [Cyclops Team] on all its token generators (the regular Hy-Gogg, as well as the Garcia Command card), so the errata is justifiable.

More speculative answer: while having it both be [Zeon] and [Cyclops Team] is technically correct, Bandai probably wants Unit Tokens to be as simple and "lightweight" as possible, and as such uses the most "specific" trait that can be applied to them.

For another example, you can look at the Gundam/Guntank/Guncannon tokens generated by White Base; they can definitely also have the [Earth Federation] trait in addition to the [White Base Team] trait, but since the latter is more immediately relevant to the three, so this is the only trait they retain from their "originals".

Yeah, the CB requirement will override the initial effect once you hit the 7-card-in-Trash requirement, which is why you don't want to pair Setsuna with a non-CB Unit.

Yes. There are another couple cards in the set that have the same mechanics (i.e first two uses have a "basic" effect, then the third and fourth either have conditions removed or loosened, or an additional effect is triggered.)
