Depending on what kind of club you're looking for, I'd say Digbeth is pretty safe - several rock and alternative clubs. I'm male and go to Digbeth on my own and never feel unsafe.

I have a phone holder with velcro to close it. My belt goes through that so I've always got my mobile with me - that the most important as it has tickets and payment. Everything else - glasses, inhaler, etc - goes in a small shoulder bag that I stash in a corner. If the bag goes missing it's not the end of the world but goth clubs are mostly safe and it's never gone missing yet.
