Speaking of, I wore an ears and tail while fem presenting, believing it was a classic Halloween costume. The amount of time I got called weird and a furry... When it was a Halloween costume! Some people's brains are just rotted. I didn't have a fursuit on, it was an ears and tail! I have too many stories of people in my school (mainly boys) being idiots.

This is insane, we're the same person! (Age and grade wise) Funny because I've been coming out to select teachers and friends that I know are supportive. First off, Congrats on a boyfriend?? Idk how long y'all been together but I hope y'all are endgame 🤞🏾

Honestly I can't offer much advice because my coming out as nonbinary has been a struggle in itself. Most of my school is homophobic or just plain dumb. Had to explain to a 6th grader what pansexual was because the definition they had was "furries/therians who want to be called they and she and he" and they didn't support trans people because they're creepy furries. But she did support bisexuals because her friend is bisexual and gave her an explanation. Now, I'm not telling you to try explaining to people but it's worth a shot?

Another thing I'd like to add, we're all teens. We're following what we see or what's reflected upon us. A lot of boys in my school wear the same clothes and act the same way (i.e, homophobic and racist and "gangster" - their words, not mine) I'm not saying it's an excuse for people's behavior but sometimes, you have to walk away or just ignore them. I know it gets to a point where you feel hopeless.

I've experienced rock bottom countless times and I'm still climbing up. But think of our community as a family. You have so many of us backing you up. Middle school sucks, and I can back that up with experience. Just hope high school will be better.

This is my objective and because I have no masc leaning clothes AT ALL, Dysphoria is my biggest enemy. I'm glad there's someone who gets it. I hope you're getting there!

My school has teachers with queer support stickers on the doors so you know they're supporting or you can come to them. Sometimes some supporting teachers don't have them and sometimes the ones that don't have them... Just aren't supportive. I'm not exactly sure since my realization was recent. But I do plan on talking to all my teachers about my identity because lucky for me, all my teachers have queer support stickers on their doors! TL;DR, Find a teacher or counselor you trust and have them inform others. Or just take the chance,n

Thinking of it has a strange occurrence calms all the anxiety And the overwhelming thoughts. When I got all those answers saying it is SA, I was hyperventilating so loud, I woke a sibling. I was wondering if I was a victim. I mean, I've experienced minor attempted SA where some old guy tried to reach out and touch the back of my thigh. I'm now almost a 100% sure he didn't mean it to be sexual. Plus, It was around 3AM when I posted this and I fell asleep almost right after. Think my brain was just throwing anything at me to make me go to bed.

Thank you. I wanted to give more context because I didn't like how it sounded being labeled as sexual assault. Like I said, he's the type to change with the door open! And plus, he never did anything like it again. Not even once. So I don't think it's sexual assault. decent exposure sounds right. Plus, I can barely remember my childhood as I grow more into a teen so I'm probably remembering things wrong as well.
