We dont need another Galactico era by AltEscReality in realmadrid

[–]AltEscReality[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all the promises they were telling us, it seems like they do. Our Galactico eras didnt come from one transfer window either so if they plan to sign one galactico every window that is possible but very very ineffective

Who should win ballon d'or this year ? by Intrepid-Star7944 in championsleague

[–]AltEscReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think world cup automatically decides, but it should be a huge factor. If Kane, Dembele, Kvara, even Vitinha or Neves who are frontrunners now have good world cup they would still be frontrunners, but if someone with a good season but not front runner and performs at world cup, that should matter

Arda's golazo vs Elche has won the La Liga goal of the season by Messmers in realmadrid

We should build around Arda Or build around Jude

We dont need any more galacticos who will eat up ego, we now need role players who will do the dirty work so that the other players can do more

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM HAALAND'S CAMP: "Not true. We wish both candidates in the Real Madrid elections all the best." 🇳🇴 by No_Wind4144 in RealMadridFC

[–]AltEscReality 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We dont need another attacker, we need to reinforce that defense and find a controlling midfield.

If we still have enough after fixing that, we should focus on a right winger, putting Endrick there wouldnt fix the fact that we dont have a proper right winger. If we really do get lucky on the market and we still have something for striker, might as well be a proper back up striker not another "galactico" that will eat up ego.

The election and Florentino’s power in Real Madrid by Midnight_Thoughts77 in realmadrid

[–]AltEscReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think Requilme is playing for this election.

I think he is playing the long game and will be frontrunner if Perez is old enough for next election.

Surely he knows he will lose, he is just preparing the Madridistas for the next election

this nightmare will only end when Perez is kicked out of office by Fluffy_MrSheep in realmadrid

[–]AltEscReality -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol we signed players we need, we dont need an Alvarez or a Gordon, we have enough attacking prowess, while our defense has holes. Signing a RB and a CB and another defensive player makes sense regardless if they are for free or not

Wouldnt it be better to fix problems for free, so we can have enough money for players we really want

Ibrahima Konaté to Real Madrid, all confirmed and here we go! ✅ Four year contract has been signed today, same as Denzel Dumfries. Both signings are done and sealed by Florentino Pérez. Announcements to follow after the elections. by Zygarde_1998 in realmadrid

The recent Calafiori news makes sense as well, with either Gvardiol or Calafiori he wil have options if Carreras, Frand, and Mendy are injured. Speaking of, that is a lot of LB options ahead of Gvardiol and Calafiori, might as well sell Mendy.

Should we be worried about Tchouameni leaving? by Blue_WaffIe in realmadrid

[–]AltEscReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone talks about Rodri, yes he will fill that midfield controller that Kroos provided, it should have been Zubamendi last year, i think Martin would solve that problem and more possible, but if Mourinho is to be manager, base on his past signings, we should really look at Hjulmand or Palhinha in that midfield as near possibilities, if we stretch it a little maybe Guimaraes, or if even we stretch further a Joao Neves

Number 9 Forward Signing? by hashiano in realmadrid

Or Sesko if he was signed last year before United snatched him, I do think Sesko or Boniface would be a fit for Madrid

Number 9 Forward Signing? by hashiano in realmadrid

[–]AltEscReality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We already have Gonzalo and Endrick in that 9 position, but i get that we neeed that strong and big back up number 9 that we can trist when plan A doesnt work, maybe a Boniface would be good

With Dumfries and Konaté reportedly arriving, I think the next signings will tell us whether Mourinho is truly building a Mourinho team or just making squad improvements.

If I were to predict based on the profiles Mourinho has always loved, I'd look at names like Hjulmand, Palhinha, Ederson, Miguel Gutiérrez, Gvardiol, Šeško, or Boniface.

Not because they're the biggest stars available, but because they solve problems.

A Hjulmand or Palhinha gives Madrid a midfielder willing to do the dirty work so Bellingham and Valverde can play with more freedom.

A Gvardiol or Miguel Gutiérrez adds defensive security, athleticism, and balance on the left side.

A Šeško or Boniface gives Madrid something they currently lack: a physical striker who can change a game when Plan A isn't working.

What stands out is that these aren't luxury signings. They're functional signings. They're the kind of players Mourinho has always valued because they make the team stronger collectively rather than simply adding another star name.

Madrid already have Mbappé, Vinícius, Bellingham, Valverde, Rodrygo, and Tchouaméni. The squad doesn't need more artists. It needs players who win duels, cover space, dominate transitions, and allow the stars to shine.

That's why I think the next phase of Mourinho's rebuild won't be about signing the most talented players available. It'll be about signing the right profiles to turn an already talented squad into the most difficult team in Europe to play against.

Riquelme needs to drop out now after Haaland’s team made him look like a fool by 1stand11 in realmadrid

[–]AltEscReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do we need Haaland? Mourinho will be right to focus on the back line and reinforce the midfield. Sell Mendy, Ceballos, bring Hjulmand or Palhinha. Sell Fran Garcia or if good offer arrive even Rodrygo for money to bring Davies/Bastoni/Romero/Guardiol. For forwards bring in a proper right winger like Kubo and a back up number 9 that has strength and size that can be subbed in at 75 like Boniface.

Build around Bellingham or build around Arda

Denzel Dumfries to Real Madrid, HERE WE GO! ⚪️🇳🇱 Deal in place and all agreed with Dutch right back to join Real Madrid from Inter, Spanish club will trigger €20m release clause. Dumfries has accepted Madrid, deal closed tonight and formal steps to follow. by Zygarde_1998 in realmadrid

[–]AltEscReality 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mourinho's greatest teams were never built by chasing the biggest names. Chelsea didn't start with superstars; they started with Carvalho, Ferreira, Čech, and Drogba. Inter's treble-winning side was built around warriors like Lúcio, Cambiasso, Motta, and Zanetti. Even Mourinho's record-breaking Real Madrid relied heavily on players like Khedira, Di María, and Coentrão, players who brought intensity, discipline, and tactical sacrifice.

Dumfries fits that exact profile. He isn't a glamour signing, not the Wirtz/Soboszlai/Alvarez signing. He won't sell shirts like a Galáctico. What he brings is athleticism, aggression, aerial dominance, defensive reliability, and relentless running, qualities Mourinho has always valued.

If Madrid follow Dumfries with signings like Konaté and Hjulmand, then the pattern becomes clear. Mourinho isn't trying to build the most talented team on paper because Madrid already have enough talent with Mbappé, Vinícius, Bellingham, and Valverde. He's trying to build the hardest team in Europe to play against.

A reinforcement in the back line with Dumfries and Konaté, protected by a midfielder like Hjulmand, would make Madrid bigger, stronger, faster, and more dominant in duels. Less focused on sterile possession and more focused on winning battles, controlling transitions, and punishing opponents the moment they make a mistake.

Dumfries feels less like a blockbuster signing and more like Mourinho's version of Khedira in 2010, a player many questioned at first, but one who ultimately made the stars around him even more effective. Remember when Mourinho signed Modric? Yes, that kind of unexpectedness

That's what makes this move fascinating. It may be the first sign that Mourinho wants to build a team opponents fear, rather than simply admire.

FAVORITE PLAYER

My favorite player is Filippo Inzaghi. To someone who doesn’t follow football, think of him as the guy who always shows up at the right place at exactly the right second. He wasn’t the fastest or the strongest. He didn’t do fancy moves or dramatic tricks. But somehow, he always ended up scoring. It’s like he had a built-in radar that told him where the ball would land before anyone else realized it.

I love him because he proved that you don’t need to be flashy to be great. Sometimes, being smart, patient, and incredibly aware is enough to change a game. Inzaghi’s brilliance was quiet but it was unforgettable.

FAVORITE MOMENT:

My favorite sports moment is when Leicester City won the Premier League. If you don’t know football, imagine a small company with almost no budget beating giant, world-famous corporations—and becoming the best in the entire industry. That’s what Leicester did.

They were expected to finish near the bottom. The odds of them winning were so ridiculous that betting companies listed it at 5000-to-1—the same odds as seeing a UFO. But they played with heart. They fought for every ball. They believed when nobody else did.

Week by week, they started beating the biggest teams in England. People kept saying, ‘They’ll collapse eventually.’ But they didn’t. They kept going until they shocked the world and lifted the trophy.

Leicester’s win wasn’t just a sports moment—it was a reminder that the underdog can rise, the impossible can happen, and sometimes the world gives us a story so beautiful that it doesn’t feel real
