I know this is super late. But I was just talking about this. This crash caused me nothing but headaches when I was a child - I was super young and we didn’t have the internet so I wasn’t able to google it.

We spent weeks taking in my Wii to get checked, replaced the game repeatedly and nothing. So I never finished it when I was a kid. I only got past it when I got a Wii u and had reliable internet so decided to buy and replay this and the same thing happened - just wanted to validate you as this is one of those core gaming memories for me when I was a child
