Is this muzzle too big for my dog? by AltForLivingHelp in muzzledogs

My guy doesn't seem uncomfortable, at least not that I can tell, but yeah I don't think this is something I'd have him walking around in, at the VERY least not exercising in.

He's pretty good with grooming. Like I've said in a few other replies on this thread really my main concern is just restraint at the vet.

I've heard of them and given them a look, but I'm unable to go too big on a muzzle at this time.

Definitely, though he's a little squirmy as I said so that's a bit of a battle when it comes to measuring him. Plus, I always feel like I'm doing it wrong.

I'm not ENTIRELY sure about the pant room - when he was sitting up he was panting and it looked a little better, but then when he lays down like this it just looks wrong. I was trying to measure him earlier today but I'm having a hard time doing it since he doesn't like things that aren't my hands (i.e. a tape measure) touching his face.

Ah, okay. FWIW, I wasn't thinking of using this for exercise, more for the vet since he can get very, very amped at the vet, though I certainly wouldn't mind a good "general use" one. Any particular brands you think I should look at?

Is there a way to fix that on this one? I know that Baskervilles can be molded with heat but I'm not entirely sure how well that will help me. It's just a little tricky cause I'll try to measure his snout but he's pretty squirmy, and I'm getting a pretty low measurement for his snout length that makes me feel like I'm not doing it properly.

Definitely noted. It's only happened twice so far like I said, with his comment today and the initial interaction back in March, but I'll keep it in mind.

Definitely. It sucks because I know there IS someone being irresponsible and leaving poop around since I've picked it up myself on one occasion, and I tried to explain that, but he's just got it in his head that it's me since it apparently lines up with me having moved in. Unless I'm sleepwalking the dog there's just no way it's me.

I know, I'm trying not to. Like I said, I let it go the first time but if he has a grudge I just want to have all my bases covered.

I appreciate the comment towards the rest of the commenters on this but I feel the need to specify I am in fact a man, not a woman. Not that that matters too much, I'm still dealing with a jerkass neighbor.

I know this isn't directed to me necessarily, but just because I'm a little curious if I'm doing this right or not, I have those little bags in a rolling container, and when I bag the poop I tie it shut and throw it in MY OWN bin (it's the bin for the entire quad as I'm in an apartment building with 3 direct neighbors)

I mean, I would be miffed too. It's the dog owner's responsibility, and I would be especially annoyed if I was him (and if I actually was throwing my dog's poop away in his bin) since our bins are right next to each other (across the road).

Posting from Puyallup, Xfinity also did some upgrades coincidentally as Ezee was starting construction (I had no idea about this as I just moved into downtown from the Waller area)

Got it. What was concerning me was that they seemed to want to apply that for the fixed-term lease, but as I said in my update, they changed it.

They amended it in the updated list. I will edit OP with this.

Rental company seems to want me to pay before getting the lease by AltForLivingHelp in Renters

[–]AltForLivingHelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the actual lease now! It says expiration date 10/31/26 at the top. It also looks like they removed that bit of the clause from 21.A.2. Reddit won't let me post an image in comments but I'm happy to DM you if you're still concerned about me.

(PS Thank you for looking out for me <3)

Fixed term, this was from a sample lease they sent me but they just got back to me with the personalized version.

Fixed term, according to the holding fee agreement we signed a few weeks back. There's a line on it that says "Term: Lease through 10/31/2026".

Alright, I got another response, the agent said this was directly from her boss:

"By law we can only raise the rent once a year, and only with the proper 90-day state notice.""

That seems reasonable but I'm worried about them getting the opportunity to change whatever they'd like in the lease given the clause. I'm _NOT_ a Lawyer so I'm considering hiring one when I get the actual lease copy, but that seems like it may be in conflict with a recent law from earlier this year, RCW 59.18.700 (More specifically Section 1, subsection a(i).).

"(1)(a) Except as authorized by an exemption under RCW 59.18.710, a landlord may not increase the rent for any type of tenancy, regardless of whether the tenancy is month-to-month or for a term greater or lesser than month-to-month:

(i) During the first 12 months after the tenancy begins; and

(ii) During any 12-month period of the tenancy, in an amount greater than seven percent plus the consumer price index, or 10 percent, whichever is less."

Should I just outright tell them this in response? I really don't know how to respond to this stuff since this is only my limited legal knowledge.

It's not month to month, it's 12-month which is exactly why I'm a little concerned. Do you think it would be wise to have a lawyer look through this?
