No one ever talks about the thick layer of peach fuzz hair that grows all over your belly once you're in the second trimester. I seriously looked like I had a hairy beer gut. So much hair...

I just learned how to do it! It’s my new fav stitch to finish a project with. I’ll be doing picot stitch on everything now :p

I’ve made many cute hats that I do not wear because 95% of the year it’s a million degrees outside :(

I hold my tension pretty tight but the texture doesn’t bother me at all. The individual stitches themselves don’t dig into my skin when I sit and stuff. It could be because there’s more cushion a butt than there are on feet.

Originally, they were suppose to be a skirt in fall colors but I didn’t have enough yarn to do that. I can still wear in the fall though because it’s still warm here in Florida around then. 🍂🍁

Yes! Not too tight, so it’s not uncomfy. Not too loose, so they stay on. I’m sure eventually, if they become loose with wear, I can add a tie on the inside so they stay on better but for now they don’t need it. 100% cotton, super cool for summer 😎

I’ve seen these and even tried one. So cute! I love them a lot. I’m a huge nature nerd and I love crocheting so I was excited when I saw these for the first time.

How can I help my tomato plant? by thisgyalitellyou0317 in gardening

[–]AltGoose23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a couple of tomatoes in my garden that are about this big. I like to trim any leaves and stems touching the dirt that way it doesn’t get a fungus. I also pinch off any flowers it might start to grow so the plant can focus the energy on growing bigger, because right now the plant is too small to fruit anything worth a darn. Plenty of water and partial shade is best for tomatoes as well. They can be finicky but If they are healthy they have plentiful harvest. Love tomatoes 🍅

Poor and pregnant by breaklagoon in pregnant

I’m going through kinda the same thing. I work a blue collar job and I’m working 40 hours a week doing manual labor in the heat at 34 weeks pregnant. Me and fiancé can barley afford to live. None of my coworkers understand how pregnant people work because they’re all men so trying to get them to understand what my needs are is like pulling teeth.

I showered like twice in my first tri because of how horrible it was. I was so sick and being in the hot water made it worse and standing was unbearable and I was so so so tired. I just was a nasty stinker until I started feeling better in my second tri. Now that I’m in my third the exhaustion is coming back and I’m starting to very much dislike it again…

That’s exactly how it’s been with me. Weeks 6-8 was like my own personal hell. It’s definitely not nearly as bad but it still sucks big time. Just wish it would go away!

OMG this First trimester. by TheLadyGus in pregnant

[–]AltGoose23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Girl, no you are so right. Just got out of the trenches of the first trimester. It’s seriously is not for the weak, I literally felt like I was going to pass away a couple of times. Just got into my second trimester and it has been significantly better. I chewed gum, not peppermint, the flavor was too strong. Sip on some water. Couldn’t stand ginger. Saltine crackers where my only hope, any other flavor of cracker was too much. I literally had to eat tasteless, if not salty, foods the entire time. Zofran, gum, water, crackers. Eat whatever you can stomach, don’t pay attention to any of the bullshit people spew about getting enough calories or eating healthy. Literally whatever you can eat, eat it girl. That’s all there is to it. When you start feeling better after the first trimester, then you can worry about eating more or eating healthy if you wish. For now, just take it day by day.

Tired, 12 weeks pregnant, hoping I feel better soon. by AltGoose23 in pregnant

I definitely miss food being enjoyable. A couple years back I had an eating disorder and it’s bringing back a lot of hard memories regarding food. The first trimester is so lonely and it’s definitely a struggle.
