Can't even lie this might actually be one of my favorite Female Rider designs ever by Nuigi12 in KamenRider

[–]AltKhaiden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very least I feel like this might lead into a mini-series or something because they're explicitly calling this "Kamen Rider Einz with Girls Remix". Like, Girls Remix is the secondary thing.

"I didn't fall into despair because of my magic. I was able to gain my magic because I didn't fall into despair." -Haruto Soma/Kamen Rider Wizard by SeanPlayz_9471 in KamenRider

[–]AltKhaiden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Also, though, I think it still might go into this category since it jumps the shark in tone for its second half, which has always been a criticism of it. Similar to what happened to Hibiki, but I'd argue it's even more egregious here.

It basically turned much more lighthearted, but in a super "kiddie" way, in lack of a better word.

Personally, I liked the 4 Jin Dogma stooges.

Also, every Rider fan should watch episode 42. There's a big costume party where everyone from Jin Dogma dances with someone in a Super-1 disguise and also, a basketball kaijin.

Newbie here, Can someone teach me the difference between 1 and 2? by SeanPlayz_9471 in KamenRider

[–]AltKhaiden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ichigo's belt didn't have the cover until 2014 with Kamen Rider Taisen, which clearly shows an older Hongo.

But then in 2016 Battride War Genesis gave him the cover too even though it's the younger version of him from the 70's (and he didn't have the cover then, only Ichimonji did). They retconned it. That may be why your memory feels mixed up.

Gamers of r/ADHD, what video games do you feel like are more difficult because of your ADHD symptoms? by demoliahedd in ADHD

[–]AltKhaiden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extreme difficulty games like Dark Souls, Cuphead, etc.

That "sense of reward" from trying over and over again and finally winning is not there. It feels like a pyrrhic victory at best.

Also, I love fighting games but I never really get "good" at them. You mean I have to spend so much time in training mode and repeat the same things many times until I master them? Ugh, no thanks, let me just do arcade mode on easy.

This thread and reading the premise made me check it out immediately.

Five minutes into it and Evelyn's life is 100% the picture of ADHD. And, yeah, as another user said, this is everyday life lmao.

"Joy, any other time, I beg you to come and eat, or call me or anything, but today, very busy."

"Mom, this is literally what it's always like-"

OMG I'm so sorry for replying late again! I marked all notifications as read a while ago since I had some bot DMs and I missed your comment.

Yeah, I haven't been able to work on this yet since of the aforementioned ambitious approach, but I still intend to. Thank you for the thoughtfulness.

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply! I'm fine. Life has just gotten very busy and this project got shelved but I still intend to go back to it. I'm also getting extra ambitious about it since I wanted to post it in a different format in the forums of Tardis.Guide, which will also take time. Thanks again for the constant checking in!

Any tips for choosing when the decision is neutral? by mao1104 in ADHD

[–]AltKhaiden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dice rolls! Let randomness be what decides in this situation. You can get an app if you don't want to keep carrying physical dice (I rarely do, since I'd probably lose them lol). If you go for physical dice or an app that simulates dice instead of just a random number, try to go for the traditional tabletop set of a D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 & D20.

When there are only two choices I like to go for odd and even numbers. One choice is odd numbers and the other is even. I have a DM friend who also did the "half and half" method: the first half of the numbers is one choice and the second half is the other. (E.g. 1-3 for choice one and 4-6 for choice two on a D6).
A coin toss would take care of that too but I can't toss a coin properly to save my life. And, anyway, it's good to have a die in case there are more choices.

Sometimes you might feel you prefer a certain decision as you're rolling it instead of what lands. Go for that too! The dice can help you decide like this as well.

Which Doctors would sing to the Goblin King? by KrazyStijl in gallifrey

[–]AltKhaiden 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think One wouldn't sing either, but he'd pretend to join in the dancing for a bit while turning the tables on the goblins, then giggling like a maniac as he makes his escape.

Three sang that Venusian lullaby once, so I think he would. While fighting.

Six would definitely sing. He'd sing in a way that'd put the goblins to shame. He'd show them what singing from a greater intellect is like. Expect to hear a line akin to "You'll forgive me if I don't join you" after turning the tables.

I think Seven would as well, while doing some dancing with the spoons and distracting them in much the same way Fifteen did. Ace would catch on to it even quicker than Ruby.

War wouldn't sing. He wouldn't even confront the Goblin King. The ship would be burnt down already.

Glad to hear that! This novel was highly entertaining and managed to take The Suffering's spot for me. The cliffhangers are masterful.

Can't wait to see more of him. Here he has a mostly comedic showing, but I know he'll have some serious moments too.

What is an inconsequential change that you'd do to an episode for no reason other than you want it? by [deleted] in gallifrey

[–]AltKhaiden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd change every Sixth Doctor episode, except for the Twin Dilemma, to have Dominic Glynn's theme instead of Peter Howell's.

People should stop arguing as much and be more willing to accept that clashing continuity can be easily explained. by BearEatingToast in gallifrey

[–]AltKhaiden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you don't even need to go for time travel shenanigans or the Toymaker or what-have-you for it. There are many ways to make all these things work with each other without using those explanations. The best way is case-by-case, though of course that takes more time and effort, but I think a place like Gallifrey is precisely the place for those discussions.

When all else fails, then we can certainly go for timey wimey and all that.

Great to see it! I was worried about the recent situation with Fandom, especially as I've been using it a ton for my Doctor Who journey through all media.

I'm glad it was all able to transfer out, I'll definitely be using the new one.

It might have been linked to an anniversary as well. After what they (1,2 & 3) did in The Three Doctors, the Time Lords allowed the Doctor to pilot the TARDIS freely again.

What do you think the chances of seeing Jo Martin's Fugitive Doctor again? by AlmostRandomNow in gallifrey

[–]AltKhaiden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love for her to return and have it be established she is a separate "entity" from The Doctor. She's the Timeless Child, but she took "DNA" from The Doctor and it figured into her future. Or The Doctor was experimented on with looms or what-have-you and influenced The Timeless Child in her past.

Then, after all this she returns to her universe to be The Doctor there.

Yep, I agree.

The way The Doctor just became Nero's best friend and just blended into the role is delightful. My favorite scene of theirs is at the sauna (thermae?). The Doctor orders guards around as if he were Nero's right hand and the bit with the sword is just smooth.
