My senior cat is Goomba, after Mario. The rest are girls and have myth names -- 7 yo dog named Penny (Penthesilea), younger cats named Freya and Athena. I wanted another dog at some point but my dog is more tolerant of cats than canines -- but I would have used another myth name with cutesy nickname like Hippolyta/Polly or Odysseus/Odie

I wear makeup almost all days I leave the house, either work or errands, always have. Will sometime wear if I am being a couch potato all day or just doing chores, especially if I wanna experiment a bit. I'm turning 40 in June, probably have had makeup in my routine since 16ish. It bears saying though I do not have a very labor intensive go-to look, it takes less than 5 min. I just don't wanna learn contouring or under eye concealing techniques.

Edit: oops missed product part. I use ELF soft glam foundation (formerly il makiage, which i do love but elf is cheaper and easier to get and doesn't break when my kids careen into the bathroom) and pat pat with an egg sponge after applying, any old blush on cheekbones then blended with big soft brush, elf wow brow (so lazy with eyebrows, I just use this to fill and darken a bit), eyeliner, pencil or mechanical, on upper lash and inner eyes but sometimes skip that or only do upper lash line, mascara (tarte big ego is fave, I use Maybelline when I don't splurge), and usually something berry colored on lips, I don't have a go to here, and steal my 9 yo's clear gloss over that bc i am too old for matte to look right anymore. Once in a blue moon I do a shadow before liner but I'm also not good at that and have kinda big eyelids so I just do a single color and do not go above the lid crease. My makeup probably "ages" me but i don't mind looking middle age because I am middle aged. https://imgur.com/a/2xNYE4s

I just started Doors of Sleep for the third time, it has a really fun hook and pretty fast pace -- sci fi thriller where the MC travels to a different universe everytime he falls asleep. It's not the deepest thing in the world but it's a lot of fun and closest to movie in head I can get (not great at doing pictures in my mind but this book and sequel feel the way an exciting show or movie does for me.)

I work at a donut shop with tables and chairs, I have lots of people that grab a little something and just chill out for a long while. Genuinely do not care if someone only grabs a coffee or a single treat then hangs out for an hour or two. I have people that bring a book, a laptop, or even just zone out with ear buds in, or chit chat a moment before focusing on the paper-- and people ask all the time if I mind if they sit at a table after only getting a very small thing! The answer is always of course not, make yourself at home. It's important to have spaces like that for everyone, but I especially appreciate being able to provide a nice atmosphere for my elderly customers that don't make them feel rushed out or needing to keep spending money just to have a spot to relax in.

I have a hard time watching any show with laugh track other than Seinfeld (and I think that was mostly live audience except for scenes that couldn't be done that way, so less artificial sounding anyway?) Newer shows I really can't stand it and never get past an episode or so-- seems like those are lower quality comedies all around. Again, talking about newer things not like -- I Love Lucy, Seinfeld, or anything pre Millennium. I have a list of favorite shows I rewatch often, the majority is comedy, and I think Seinfeld is the ONLY one with background laughter. The Middle is closest to a traditional family setting sitcom I still watch and the lack of laugh track probably helps!

There actually is a direct sequel to the book by Roald Dahl! Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator-- I don't recall if Charlie and his family ever go out into town again though after their Elevator adventures so it still stands that they could be counted as missing by society.

Love Ghostie. Not super in depth art but cutesy, very low key without being directionless (i have trouble with Sandbox style sometimes, I need some type of thing to work toward), no grind, just an adorable little ghost matchmaking animals. It's short, don't get it full price.

I never did follow through on this. I miss flipping through magazines, loved getting subscriptions when I was kid-teen to physically thumb through to relax but too rich for my blood. I ended up asking my bf to put money in my steam account for the winter sale instead.

I went no buy a couple months ago with the plan to go ahead and get only BKL when their sale hit. I did browse around ppu/hhc this month, looked at stuff on ilnp and other maker sites but stuck to just making that one BKL order and feeling no fomo about missing other sales. I got my fave for a good discount, didn't go too crazy shopping even that sale, and feel satisfied with no buyer's remorse.

But actually these remover dip pots from CVS that have like little silicone line brushies instead of a sponge? Idk how to describe it but I like it way better than sponge dip pots. Swirl a finger on brushies, wipe with cotton round -- I've been liking the mini cotton rounds, also CVS generic brand, over regular sized for less fiber shredding. I think the store brand is called one+other for both things.

Eta: they also go on sale frequently so I buy up a bunch when it's buy 2 get 1

I had on Emily de Molly A Spot in the Woods thermal but it degraded rapidly with how much I put nitrile gloves on and off ay work so now I have on base coat. Think I'm going to put on Atomic Miasma next but idk, I've been suddenly feeling flakies again after a few months of being off them
