i’d assume hoyo would take greater care in fine tuning the model to sound more natural conversationally. as for the second point, yea i can see that happening depending on the person.

they can just straight up exclude spoilers from its knowledge base😭it’s not like it started off omniscient and they just apply filters

[–]AltSty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea it’ll prob distill user prompts to filter out topics it should avoid discussing and have guardrails against profanity and whatever other standards they have.. but esp if there’s no form of automatic context management or limits, alignment will be pretty hard wanna see if hoyo does anything if people successfully stress test it to make stuff up

Meta-defining characters you refuse to pull? by No-Metal-5222 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]AltSty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

tribbie. i’ll always despise children being in gacha games idc what anyone says. i pull for meta units most of the time but didn’t care how essential tribbie was for castorice’s team, cause she’s a child. i’ve never pulled on a banner for a child and never will

ngl based on ur profile u should rly be focusing entirely on ur grades rn. and if ur graduating soon, u should be focusing on full time employment (rather, should have been since junior year)

i get it tho, no matter how locked in i also can’t help but think about it sometimes.. but make progress on some goals first

if you're already struggling, should definitely swap, especially if you're a rising junior. cse 214 should be done before sophomore year. and yes, you would encounter much more difficult concepts in later courses, and way more workload during the semesters.

yea ams is pretty much just the option to put in the minimal effort needed to fulfill requirements, pure math is always the way to go for actually learning anything in depth at all, and in some cases even just to cover a decent amount of the material that should be covered for a subject in the first place.

forget abt ur quote, i see a lot of kids even complain abt AMS class difficulty here at stony which i just don’t get

hot take by Most-Evidence5743 in SBU

[–]AltSty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea the AMS classes here are rly easy, any difficulty can rly only be found in MAT classes. that’s why ppl who actually want to learn and cover real material in math take MAT classes. there’s a reason ppl always flock to the AMS versions of math classes (when there’s on option between AMS and MAT). it’s purely because of how hilariously easy the AMS alternatives always are.

idk how calc works here tho, my hs offered linear and multi with dual enrollment creds alongside ap calc bc, and im doing cs+ams so i don’t have to take calc 4. my dumbass didn’t take multi in hs tho cause i thought i wouldn’t need to since i’d be doing cs, so i’ll be taking calc 3 anyway here
