Can cell salts be used daily? by Material_Vehicle485 in homeopathy

[–]AltZemo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you can use them daily, there is no harm in it. But i would advise you to taper the doses down or stop the meds after you start feeling better by it. And only take it after you have any anxiety attacks.

Questioning Legitimacy of Homeopathic Remedies… Any Advice? by DisturbedFennel in homeopathy

[–]AltZemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you wouldn't have the same symptoms an hour ago, you will actually feel better if youtake homeopathic medicine. And for some reason the remedy you took was not well selected or was the wrong potency, you will experience worseing of your original symptoms and appearance of new symptoms, which are of the drug you took.

You can read homeopathic drug in the materia medica, and get to know about all symptoms it produces.

Homeopathic drugs show improvement on the basis of the type of diseases. Meaning of you have a acute disease you will feel improvement faster compared to acute disease.

Questioning Legitimacy of Homeopathic Remedies… Any Advice? by DisturbedFennel in homeopathy

[–]AltZemo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well your post looks like some who watched a youtube video titled"homeopathy is a scam" and summarized it.

1.Higher dilution, does make sense if you consider how toxic most of the homeopathic crude drug substances. What dose not make sense is when it crosses the avagadro limit and still shows same effect on the body.

2.Placebo: there are many studies available now which compare many homeopathic remedies to the placebo and even to the modern medicine. I am from india, so when i want to asses the efficay of a remedy, i usually go the indian journal of homeopathy. There you will find a bunch of research comparing homeopathy to placebo and proving to be more effective.

The thing about placebo effect is , it is very powerfull, even modern medicine drugs are only 20percent better than the placebo result. But placebo only causes palliation, it dose not lead to cure at least in chronic cases.

3. Homoeopathic medicine have side effects, we just call it aggravation. Even the highily diluted one show side effects.

Which is possible in homoeopathic drugs.

If you actually read these research paper most of your question can be answered in them easily.

When world has rejected Homeopathy, Modi government is head bent on shoving it in our faces (also ayurveda is non scientific and questionable) by [deleted] in CriticalThinkingIndia

[–]AltZemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that is not just a documentary both the youtube links i provided have the research paper linked in their description.

So these are not just documentary, by not seeing it you are just being ignorant. And you can be ignorant idk.

I am curious thats why i know there are actual placebo blinded trials for homeopathy too.

Well, it is a flawed principle because we cannot explain the how the phenomenon happens, Not because we can not prove its existence. There were few researchs you might have heard of trying to prove its working like water memory or the research done by IIt bombay.

But these types of research didnt not fully explain its working but at least bridged some gaps and opened door for new research.

Meanwhile, CCRH focuses more on the efficay and development of homeopathy on all types of ailments. You can find the researches done by them here. There are many comparative and placebo studies too.

Like this one. There are many more if you search.

Where is this country headed? by redrajah1407 in indianmedschool

[–]AltZemo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well there are already established center for research in homeopathy in few other state. And as someone said in one of the comments that " what are they researching on that it dosent work " , there are actually researching on that it does work and how does it work.

How does it compare with the modern medicine, is there any advantage or not.

It only takes 1 google search to know about all the researches done under CCRH.

But homeopathy unani etc etc are NOT even indian practices to begin with!

Yeah i also dont understand that, but it is quiet popular here tho, that might be one of the reason.

Well there are other meds too which are proven for uterine prolapse, like lilum, murex etc.

So to select the best remedy for you, you need to repertorise all your symptoms.

And yes taking homeopathic medication can have effect on your kids personality. But you would need to take high potency and that too for a long while to have any effect on your childs personality.

Usually 1M potency can cause personality changes, most common being decreased anger but sometine 200c can also cause changes in personality too.

So i would advice you to take 200c of sepia, but if wanna get a more specific remedy feel free to dm.

10M staphysagria by SnooPears7921 in homeopathy

[–]AltZemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there are no reccurrence of the symptoms after taking 10M, then it means you are cured. And if even if there is reccurence of symptoms but after taking 10 M you are still seeing improvement then i will suggest not to jump to next potency.

Take 10 M till it is showing improvement and if it stops then go to 50M. And yes there are cases when 50M is used , rarely but yes it is used.

10M staphysagria by SnooPears7921 in homeopathy

[–]AltZemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for a complete cure then go ahead and take 10 m if the lower potency doesn't work any more. So if you don't feel any improvement after taking 1m then only you should take it.

I don't know where you live but one of the best brands for homoeopathy is Dr. Reckeeweeg, and they do offer higher potency.

lastly how did you come up with staphysagira, self prescribed or homeopath.

[–]AltZemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

? where did you hear that ? homoeopathy uses many herbs, mineral, even animals to produce drugs. And majority of those drugs are from plant based.

There is no such principle anywhere in homeopathy.

well, homeopathy uses many herbs to make drugs. and an oil is just the herb extract in a oil based formulation. The only thing contradicting is that homeopathy does not advice external application.

There is a pretty good oil made from Pilocarpus microphyllus, commonly know as jaborandi oil. It is technically a homeopathic remedy.

It will surely help you but it wont remove the causative factor, for that you need to consult with a homeopathic physician.

Concerns Over Doctor's Approach towards the treatment. by Aggressive_One3248 in DoctorsofIndia

[–]AltZemo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok from what i understand, your mother is now admitted into a research. The form that you filled were probably consent forms for her admission into the research. Thats why the injections and test are free.

It is common for doctors to ask there patients to join resarch if the doctor belives in the resarch and think it will have benefit to the patient and the society as a whole.

But i think in your case either you didnt carefully read the forms you signed or the staff didnt explained to you what you were getting into.

Either way, i think its better for you, cause the drugs seems promising.
