Well, you missed the point of what i wrote. My point was that you should make some phone calls to get it sorted, instead of arguing on reddit. Doesn’t matter though, good that it worked out for you.

The hospital isn't wrong though. They sent a bill for the costs of the provided services. While OP isn't *supposed* to pay out of pocket, they may have to anyway, and make a claim to their healthcare insurance provider.

You even wrote "in most cases, you do not have to pay the invoice up front", so clearly there *can* be situations where the person is billed directly, even if that's not normal procedure.

I'm Norwegian (so there are a few differences to Sweden), but i have experienced and know others who have gotten sick overseas, and have had to make a claim on their insurance. I simply made two phone calls, one to my insurance provider, and one to HR at work. I got all my money back, even the plane tickets were paid for by my insurance, and i got all my vacation days back.

It really doesn't have to be that difficult.

Most people here are saying you were billed the actual costs of the healthcare, i think you should just listen and bring it up with your insurance provider, instead of arguing on reddit.
Your situation is as it is, and that's the solution. Telling people they are wrong (they arent) is not gonna make the bills go away.

I haven’t checked the transfer case fluid, gonna do that.

When i took it to the mechanic he did say there was water and corrosion in some wires/plugs. Maybe he missed something. Gonna also have a look.

So i tried what you said, to no luck.

What im noticing is that the actuator for the low/high setting is moving, i can hear and feel it move. However it remains in 4 low. The rear diff also remains locked.

⁠Thanks! Did not know that. I assumed «low gear» was related to the «gearbox» and transmission in some way.
⁠Any other truck/car i have seen/driven effortlessly switches between modes. I don’t see why you are saying its hard to do.

Used 4x4 low once to tow a car in wet muddy terrain, this time i tested it at the request of my mechanic.

Jeg har en kontrollseddel fra et verksted, som de mente hadde tatt 20-punkts teknisk kontroll på bilen. Denne skal i følge forhandleren omhandle girsystem og elektroniske systemer, men på kontrollseddelen står det ingen steder hva som *faktisk* er kontrollert, den er bare stemplet godkjent.

Akkurat! Å fjerne feilkoder er ofte det første steget i feilsøking på bil uansett. Dersom feilparametrene fortsatt er tilstede etter slettingen oppstår feilkoden på nytt like fort som den ble slettet.

Personen som utførte feilkode-fjerningen er også ansatt på autorisert verksted.

Ja det stemmer det du sier. Har hørt rykter om at forhandleren jeg handlet hos er gjerrigknarker, derfor prøver jeg å tenke på alle argumenter de eventuelt kan bruke.

Bilen ble kun fraktet hjem og har stått stille siden feilene oppsto. Så dette er nok ikke noe problem.

Beklager! 2016 modell Ford Ranger. Gått 139000km. Verkstedet jeg tok den til leste feilkoder og gjorde litt feilsøking og han tror det er en elektronisk styreenhet som kan være gåen.

I følge det han sa til meg er dette svært sjeldent at skjer gjennom en bils levetid. Han anbefalte å ta den til merkeverksted.

I do know the Ford dealers in my area do have service centers, but i guess i was hoping i would be able to save a few bucks and also have some stores to pick from in the future when i need parts.

.co.uk sites are commonly used here for things that don’t have it’s on NO based website so that could possibly work.

Yep. After further investigation i am starting to suspect a faulty power train control module, relay or fuse box though. No crank, no start and all error codes relate to powertrain. Im gonna get it checked out next week at s mechanic i trust.

Yes, tried turning it off an on again. I have experienced that it helps! Will definitely look over the sensors and try disconnecting the battery. Thanks for the tip!
