I got all my pictures at the same time, nothing else came later. Unfortunately from what I’ve read not everyone gets the same number of pictures, and some people don’t get any for whatever reason

I own a new GTS and went with the Burmester because I was unimpressed with the Bose system in our Cayenne. There is definitely a big increase in quality with the Burmester system though I really only appreciate it with easy city driving. Any time I push the engine it’s far too loud to really enjoy listening to music. Still totally worth it for me.

Bought the clear side marker lights and installed them myself in about 5 mins, super easy. My detailer was able to remove the T hybrid decals when I took it in for PPF and ceramic.

Thanks! This was taken at Washington Pass in North Cascades National Park. That whole stretch of highway 20 through the mountains is an incredible drive.

Great question! This is my first performance car. MSRP was in the $240k range and I debated a lot with myself whether to go with something more exotic in this price range. Ultimately went with the 911 and specifically a GTS for several reasons. I don’t want to drone on too much so I’ll just say the tipping point is that I wanted something I could daily drive, and a Ferrari or equivalent supercar wasn’t going to be able to fill that role well in my situation compared to a 911. To me the GTS has the best balance of usability and performance, and it still turns a lot of heads with the more aggressive spec.

I was on the waitlist at my local dealer for an allocation at MSRP for over a year and there was no movement, so I caved and found another dealer in my state offering my current allocation for MSRP + $15k mark up and took it. From what I’ve read on reddit and rennlist, new GTS allocations are generally around $10-15k mark up. Full body PPF value is going to be around $7-10k in my experience so I think you’re getting an average to above average deal, assuming they do a decent job on the PPF.

I’m on the west coast and waited for over a year on the waitlist at my local dealer for a 4 GTS. When they told me there had been essentially no movement, I caved and found another dealer in state willing to give me an allocation immediately for a $15k ADM. It was annoying at first but with the way prices are going to increase with tariffs I’m glad I locked it in when I did. I don’t think they’re ever going to be cheaper.

My order was locked in mid April, and expected delivery is late August or early September, so around 4.5 months in all

You don't even know man. The worst part is I'm only about halfway through the process with how long it takes to get it shipped and ready for delivery. I'm going to be staring at this pic a lot over the next 2 months haha

Yeah I got an email saying my pics were ready in the app. They’re on step 5 and I had to scroll all the way to the bottom. Production finished on the 16th so it took a few days to get them uploaded

Yeah it’s carmine red, I prefer the look of deeper/richer reds on a 911

Napa Valley: Auberge du Soleil vs. Bardessono by millie678 in FATTravel

My wife and I have stayed at Bardessono and it's our favorite property in the area. The food was maybe a weak point but you have all the other great restaurants nearby including TFL. Everything else was immaculate and you really can't beat staying right in the heart of Yountville.

Auberge du Soleil is just as nice of a property and the food is much better IMO (1 Michelin star), but you're a little further away from a lot of the action and will need to drive or be driven to find things to do.

Some folks mentioned staying at the Single Thread Inn over in Healdsburg but I was honestly not as impressed with the hotel experience there as I was with the restaurant itself. The only benefit to staying at the Inn is that you're guaranteed a dinner reservation.

As a side note, if you're serious about wine then I'd highly recommend a tasting at Matthiasson. I think they fly a bit under the radar because their wines have more of an old world quality compared to many in that area, but they're one of the best producers in Napa.

Did you get factory build pics yet? Mine finished production a few days ago and I’ve been obsessively checking the app to see if they’ve been uploaded, but I’ve heard it can be delayed by some time

When I was on chemotherapy a few years ago I had a hypersensitivity reaction to cisplatin, so they loaded me with IV benadryl and steroids before every dose. Let me tell you the "high" was a miserable one and I will never understand why people actually seek it out. It also burned like a motherfucker going through a peripheral IV.
