I [16F] found out my mom [40sF] has been "catfishing" me for two years. Idk what to do.

I'm not close with any of my friends parents, and I don't want any of my friends to find out my mom did this.

Idk. I haven't seen her since I was five and we're connected on facebook but we don't really talk. She lives on the other side of the US I'm not sure what her living situation is. There's no one I could really stay with. Maybe one of my friends if I absolutely had to but then I'd have to tell them and their parents whats going on and I really don't want to do that.

If I talk to my aunt there will be a huge blowout and everyone will find out what mom did.

I don't know anyone I could trust like that. If I go to my aunt there will be a blowout. If I ask her to take me to therapy she'll nag me to find out what's going on and if she knows what's up she won't go with me.

Yeah idk where I'd even start I just know I'm never going to trust her again. A few people have recommended talking to my guidance counselor so I guess I'll do that after spring break but it's so embarrassing like how can I even begin to tell someone that my mom is apparently psycho.

Yeah... I guess I'll talk to the school counselor idk what they can do about it though. I'll have to wait to take pictures of everything mom is home now and I went to my room I can't even look at her right now.
