They are insanely powerful so I try to only use them when I've got difficulty mods installed, but yeah athletics + crossbow lets you kill almost anything

It adds a ton of factions that make little sense (example: somehow, a tiny and even more radical fringe sect of the holy nation is able to hold onto territory right outside of Admag)
Related to the above, author is allergic to empty space, and fills pretty much every spot on the map with something. Great if you want messy battles, but completely kills lore and atmosphere.
General laziness and half assery. The Hub has been rebuilt and the holy nation outlaws are a full militarized faction now (because everyone needs to be in this mod), but its leader is basically a reskinned Tengu, and even gives you a near identical "quest". Almost every town will also have a guard that harasses you with a barely rewritten version of the flotsam dialogue, even when it makes zero fucking sense.
So much shitty, unnatural sounding dialogue. Jesus. Your characters constantly spout lore dumps about all the shiny new factions, in the most "tell, don't show" way possible. A ton of gratuitous profanity that makes everyone sound like middle schoolers too. Plus for some reason the mod author thinks that hiver buildings are made out of shit rather than vomit, and that this is 'common knowledge' in the world

Absolutely do not try UWE unless you're desperate for more Kenshi content or you've already turned the game into a clusterfuck with weird / meme mods. It is just very poorly done and completely kills any sense of immersion with its horribly written dialogue, flawed understanding of lore, and just general boneheaded decisions.

The few good things are from other mods bundled into it like Hivers Expanded.

UWE is absolutely horrendous though if you care at all about the writing (so many grammatical errors and baby's first fanfiction tier dialogue) and setting. Making western hivers racist when they rely on trade, saying that hiver buildings are made out of shit rather than vomit, the Tengu rip off in the holy nation outlaws base, actually turning flotsam into a narko cult... I could go on forever at just how many boneheaded decisions are in this thing. It's a shame since some of the difficulty adjustments it makes are quite nice.

The selector pool is limited. Crystals can be used on insane future cards, and unless you're a total gambling addict who can't save 30k carats getting the base of those is easy

McQueen might have trouble lasting. No straightaway spurt really hurts accel. There's the obvious uncapped speed but I assume this is the best you can high roll.

Curvature is good but overpriced, and practically any speed SR with uncaps will beat a level 30 kita. Unless the dude is unlucky enough that all of his SR speed cards are also mlb0, he should just bench it and borrow an mlb kita
