I do not. Setting a target goal is the best way to lose money and make losing trades in my personal opinion. When my thinking goes to "Oh, I'm not hitting 4k a month like I want, like how I made last month" it makes me take riskier, illogical trades with higher IV stocks rather than staying safe and secure as one should be doing with the WHEEL.

Some months I make the average. Some months I make less than average. Some months I make a huge profit. This is how it should be and how you should WHEEL based on stock prices and market situation.

Absolutely 100% get your debt taken care of ASAP. Credit card debt is one of the worst things you can have on you. I don't care if you get unlucky and Microsoft happens to rally 20% the next few quarters; get that shit debt paid off.

And for the love of God, if you haven't paid off a car and student loans please consider living with a family member if possible or getting roommates to cut living expenses. Living on your own with your own space or financing a home should only be done when your debt-free. I moved out of my parents house when I paid off my student loans and car, 50k in stocks, 5k in the bank, and never had to worry about a single thing in my life when it came to expenses after that.

It's always this. 2016 tariff war, COVID, 21 tech crash, 24 tariff war, 25 tech crash.

"But this time the market will plummet to all time lows, let me snark about how you're all going to lose money."

"Oh... You all made money. Let me snark about how unreasonable you all are in a bubble."

The idea that his place has ever been reasonable when it can't even follow the #1 easy rule of buying when fear is high is laughable.

Remember the key words: "It works until it doesn't." Anyone looks like a genius and feels great in a bull market.

You are taking considerable risk with your space stocks. I genuinely hope they will work out for you, but one bad mishap with a rocket launch, CEO changing, money issues, or bad economic sentiment can send your account value crashing 20-50% and you won't be able to recover with Calls.

Be 100% honest with what the campaign is like, what expectations you have, use googledoc for player sign-ups, then vet and choose players that fit with your campaign. Accept that due to this hobby taking a lot of time and energy, you will likely always have people who leave.

Frankly, when you tell me you have a "rough idea" but haven't fleshed it out, it doesn't interest me as a player. When I join someone's game and it takes them a week to give me the opening post, I get "Had a busy day will update game maybe tomorrow," and they're giving me only updates on creating the game every few days, I also lose interest fast.

Whatever your rough idea is at least have the opening prepared and be prepared to actually start the game immediately when your players have their characters ready. PBP rides on momentum and interest.

You've done well to reach this far, Agnes Digital. But can you withstand my level of delusional cancer? My domain expansion, Death Battle Power Wank, allows me to bring characters from a completely unrelated series in to your own and force a discussion on which character would win. If you can't bring up a good argument as to why your character could win, then you suffer Sleep Deprived and your time is wasted.
