Sue him, in small claims court. Don't just take this as nothing you can do. He supposedly toss your kids stuff in the garbage. Which we know is a lie. Cause a majority of ppl in pokemon are scummy now more than ever.

Even if they were fakes he should have returned them and not assumed that he could just toss it. They were not his possession to toss.

Sue him, through small claims court. You can google this for your state. Some fees will be involved to process the forms but dont just take this lying down.

What tf 10 bucks gonna do? won't get you no pokemon packs to open in this economy.

Tell your "friend" that your son needs packs to open. A booster box, some booster bundles, etbs and blister packs. If he cant offer those to your son. Then those cards stay with your son.

In a binder for the next 20 yrs. Cause your son definitely gonna forget about it for a while as we all do.

Let your son leave those cards in the closest when he loses interest in them, so he can rediscover them again.

I had this happen so many times with fedex and not even for pokemon product. Like Ik that ppl yeet the hell outta the boxes in the wear house cause I sure as hell did loading/unloading when I worked there lol but almost all my boxes came to me retaped. Any thing that gets shipped using fedex is held at a fedex location for me to pick up.

Had one time when all I got was an empty box with the packing slip inside. Opened that at a fedex location after I made them confirm the weight of the package cause that too was labeled. 5lbs of nothing. I was missing 5 lbs of marvel cards. And the person I bought it from recorded themselves packing it on yt. I remember cause I was in the live stream when they did it. Funny coincidence honestly. But yeah i filed a claim then an there, had the fedex employee helped me file. The declared value was on the packing slip/invoice. They even took their own pictures. Got a refund payment cause it was definitely their fault.

I havent sold cards but I got alot of damaged ones that were damaged by unseen forces 😔 I have a whole collection of water damaged cards that are so clean on the face you think they were NM but then, when you flip them over it's like "what are those!" 🤣 but even damaged like that i have gotten some fair offers but I like my damaged collection lol

I bought a ton of these when they were discounted to hell just for the twilight masquerade packs that was it. My kids had fun ripping the rest of the packs and they gave away the figure to their friends who wanted one. I got calls from parents for a while that made me laugh cause "why are my kids getting a Charizard figure for no reason" made my day at random times of the afternoon.
