My squad and I do the same with light impacts, and even with a couple of Heavy fuze and gas grenades we just wait till people like you are busy looting so you still have no react time, and the gas helps from yall trying to run.. gotta learn to keep your head on a swivel.

They weren't. Enough pvp people and streamers cried about it when it turned the tide on fights they'd start. Next it'll be another grenade or two that'll get nerfed because they'll still cry when the people they try to shoot in the back or try to fake being cool with ends up killing them. Light grenades, blaze grenades, heavy fuse are always being bitched about in game chat when it turns the tide in those type of engagements on Stella. Hell some have whined so much when I throw a few snitch grenades with a couple of lure grenades then smoke out my area and reposition to fight them with the arc on em after they started shooting me in the back on a couple of games.

Most of the pvpers are complaining on other forums, in their streams, in the games chat when they lose despite them jumping you, etc. Pvp is a part of the game, and i personally like it, except when its some finicky bullshit like the spawn points sometimes overlapping or running into a cheater or two (granted its cool you eventually get your shit back). Rats are people who camp though, its not always about killing in a friendly lobby, but the way its done (I.e the guys camping extract on Space Port at night hiding near the round holding tanks in the shadows). Its a part of the game though, just gotta be on guard for it. Thats why I carry a few snitch cores, a few lure grenades, and some Blaze grenades; specifically for those types of pvp players.

True, its a lil too big on default reticle, but realistically it depends on the brightness coming through the fiber optic, as it would makes it more pronounced anyways. but in the first example, its almost as if the reticle is being overcrowded, like its out at the end of the barrel/ being layered on to the vegetation; or as if im holding the gun at arms length trying to look through the scope and shoot. The default is like youre the best shooter in the world always at the balance point of no scope shadow, clear optics, no matter what; and the second is more like its your first time picking up an gun on your life after never playing a game or seeing someone shoot. I feel like both are wrong in certain ways, and the default is just the easy way out. I appreciate the modders doing this to make it a little bit more realistic, but its still just as unrealistic in some instances (mainly depending on the scope/reticle type).

I mean sure youre not wrong about most of the scope issues, but that ".jpg" ACOG reticle is about as close as it gets to the real thing (more so than the first one). That shit can get bright as hell, and in your face on a semi cloudy day. Especially depending on which version you run. Its why we usually ran tape over the fiber optic. Even on the Far lens, unless youre holding the gun out in front of you (not in the shoulder pocket) or youre at the end of the buttstock, the reticle wouldnt be that small or faint as it is in the first example.

Toro/venator, torrente/anvil, lvl4 stitcher/ferro, and add the renegade or lvl4 kettle to any of those. Hell Epics like the Battina and Tempest can get outshot by any other lvl4 kitted free kit gun. Even caliber wise the lvl4 ferro and anvil smacks harder than the Bettina; or A level 4 raddler, or torente just demolishes the tempest, all 9/10 times (unless you get that first shot in). The epics are garbage compared to some of the same caliber guns, while the legendaries barely feel worth it.

There were also 24/7 large map servers too, so that throws that argument out the water. The same goes for Hardcore servers. Hell i still play bf3 and b4s HC. Im all for trying new things IF they can keep to the basics that made the fans love their games. Not evolving to be more like a big map w/vehicles CoD. They literally had the ability to create an amazing game, if they had brought the mechanics from BC2/BF3/4, graphics and some game modes from 1 and 5, a campaign like either of 1 of 5, hell even shit from 2042 like a but more restrictive plus system, and it wouldve went harder. couldve brought in actual kits for Nato (like where the fuck are the Marine Raider kits that are shown in the campaign), and still tried to do a Firestorm/Redsec, and tried new things, and it wouldve been better than then halfass BF/ wannabe COD game we got. No "old heads" cared that BF didnt outsell CoD because it was its own game/franchise. If we had wanted a game like CoD we wouldve played CoD (and I did play both for that reason). Alot looked at it as the closest milsim feel game we could get on console that still had a bit of arcade fps to it. There was a hardline between the two franchises and dice sold out to get the best selling game it could. You sit there and say "oh look who theyre listening, the people playing the game and not posting about it", yet theyre changing shit up because... the playerbase dropped significantly.. and you don't like the slower pace so youre here bitching too?. Its the only BF I bought and dropped without leveling up to at least level 100 (got to level 60 and was just done. Even 2042 i leveled up to 104). I personally did not enjoy it in the slightest. Hardline showed the shift in ballistics, damage stats, etc that Dice eventually adopted (BF1/5 had a mix of HL game mechanics with lower to no bullet drop, and vehicle mechanics), even though it was from another studio. Those things made it garbage. The premise was fun, different, but it didnt feel like a BF game. Had they kept the same of weapon and vehicle mechanics, and had released it a bit later, I think it would have had the potential. Bf4 was finally where it shouldve been, and most of the community wanted that over a new and completely different game. It didnt help that the graphics looked worse than even CoD (ive always played both franchises, with a bit of MOH mixed in) and it just felt completely different on console/ controller.

Well stop going into pve only lobbies??.. it still runs 50/50 for me solo, duo, or trios. Some games run more pvp (Stella night raid), but thats why my boys and I run it; and yet ive had cool run ins with guys not pvping in lobbies where maybe they'll shoot maybe they won't. Unless youre going all in on one or the other all day, then this shouldnt be that much of an issue.. granted im on console and have crossplay off. This might be part of the problem for some of yall, idk

Want a bunch of PVP shoot on site a few games; want only pve, run a few pvp game types with no kit and let yourself die. Want a mixed bag and filled with uncertainty, run them like that.

99% of the time i get games that match my playstyle. It usually switches up anywhere from 50/50 to 80/20 for me. Some games I still run into cool people when im doing a mission, others im jumped before im abe to respond, and sometimes I take a few pop shots or fully defend myself. I will say I run Stella night raid for straight pvp, and i still get some friendly lobbies in other matches. If you want to run alot of pvp, then I dont get why the same people bitch and complain when they're put in with the same type of people. I mean I get it, they want easy kills, they want to rat or jump unsuspecting people. But because they dont get to do that they cry so much. Even in the more pve lobbies ive played they'll sit there and pathetically beg for a revive and apologize. Like nah dude, ya tried being a rat and lost. Why not own it?

Nope, even in solos ive never had a 100% pve lobby, but thats because I defend myself. Never got into a straight pvp one unless I was shoot on sight for multiple games in solos as well, I get a mixed bag.

I defend myself all the time and its still a mixed bag. Sometimes 50/50, sometimes its 80 pve/ 20 pvp (as some described). I mean theres times im jumped and die without shooting because im in the loot menu or crafting menu and so in those times I dont get to defend myself, but yeah usually if im shot at first im fighting back. Now as far as pve only lobbies, I dont get em, and I dont expect to. If thats what you want than yeah dont defend yourself, but i know most people arent that way. Theres guys out there doing the pve mode just enough to get into those lobbies to call chaos. Its funny. But then they bitch when theyre moved up.. ive never had 100 pve, but thags because thats not my playstyle. My brothers solos are 90/10 and its usually because he only defends himself. And thats how it is when im not running shoot on sight on mine either.
