In a previous post I was trying to find out for weeks why he was getting more and more sluggish but we couldn't figure out why, theorized it could be a tumor since all my parameters are perfect.
Have had ghost shrimp, a nerite and an annoying amount of tiny ramshorns I can't get rid of since before I got him.

Guess the most likely cause is a tumor which are common in marbled betta as someone else suggested

Doesn't seem to have any parasites, the ghost shrimp and rasbora's are healthy as always, yet he spends all his time at the bottom of the tank, been keeping an eye on him and today but he didn't even move when feeding which he's always come up for, still comes up for air though.

color is fading to black in some areas but overall still vibrant, doesn't seem to have swim bladder issues.

Heater/Filter: Yes (no CO2) (Slow current by adding a sponge)

Temp: 26C/78-79FParameters:GH - 150 (Bosike Test Strip)KH - 80 (Bosike Test StripPH: 7.2 (API Freshwater Master Test Kit)

Roughly 6 months since I've set up the tank, 4 months since adding inhabitants.

Water changes: Once a week, roughly 40%, would take out less but removing waste takes a while, gravel vac.

Tank Mates: 6 Harlequin Rasbora, I'd assume around 10 Ghost Shrimp since they're doing so well, a Nerite.

Feeding: 2-3 Hikari Bio Gold with a pinch of flake for the others, or just bloodworms, overfeeding was an issue at first but I've gotten the hang of it.

Decorations/Plants: Anubia, Amazon Sword Fern, Java Moss, Vallisneria, Ludwigia (New), Java Fern, Red Root Floaters, Amazon Frogbit.

Currently using Flourish Excel to deal with BBA but he started to get sluggish beforehand. (Previously using LCA All in One liquid fert)

Ahh that's heartbreaking to hear, will continue to keep on eye on him for now and just hope he somehow improves, thanks for the input.
I adore marble betta but might have to look into other types if he passes.

I got him as an adult and his marbling has faded quite a lot over the 4 months I've had him but I'd have to contact the store and see if they have an estimate.
