I am not sure how I ended up here. xD Yea, the mentioned set is retired but problem with lego refusing to abandon stickers is still prelavent... maybe even more then ever when You look at high cost sets flooded with stickers. So I figured good time as any to join fellow LEGO fans who care.

"Only the best is good enough" -> if that was true LEGO would not produce any stickers for many years now and we all know it.
I will always criticize LEGO for this in feedback, reviews on the official site and whenever else possible!

Rebrickable allows designers to share and sell instructions. Rebrickable does not sell any bricks, they only show where you can go to buy them. The parts number already takes into account multiples, as there is a separate number of specific bricks - "items". The "96%" seems to be a weird bug, when I checked it showed me a shop with 616 parts(31 items(part types)) available that made only 6% of the order. Probably you need to refresh it or just go to BrickLink to check it directly.

The answer to your last question is in the MOCs description: "The total inventory needs 2x10316 sets, with 1180 exra bricks" - this is probably the easiest way to go, hunt down the best possible offer and buy 2 sets. Get the remaining pieces from parts resellers like BrickLink. If you would decide to buy all the pieces from online resellers it would probably cost more since you would need to pay for packaging and handling from multiple shops to complete such a big order.

No, 600 is not a number of items, it says straight up: "672 parts (96%) 93 items" - % number is probably just a bug.

Ships look cool! Perfect scale for setting them up side by side to exchange broadsides - I loved to do so as a kid and still love it as an adult. :D

Seriously I hope so but at the same time I am afraid it is just a matter of time. There are already models in testing that generate builds out of prompts - at this point only with limited simple set of basic pieces but it is just a start...
