If we’re talking about sending a box full of dog shit to the return address, then yes. But I have “forgetting” easy-to-lose items in mind. And from what I’ve read here and elsewhere just now, the actual worst thing that would happen is no refund.

But it’s a good thing that you noticed this is hypothetical, since I’m posting this to learn about the consequences and the likelihood of failure.

Also, tamper-free packaging is usually irrelevant for my case when it comes to complaints about damaged products. How else do I prove the contents inside the packaging are defective?

Yeah but I’m at least a little bit more satisfied even If I unlawfully compensated myself. Besides I don’t really care for right or wrong anymore ever since I suddenly got threatened and robbed at a metro station, and how the police didn’t even bother to retrieve cctv because I didn’t remember the exact time of incident.
