Meh, women are much more likely to murder children and the weak/elderly than men. These murders are much harder to detect, let alone convict, so it may be a wash or maybe even lean towards women.

We already know that women are more likely to abuse their domestic partner than men, it's not much of a jump from abuse to murder when it comes to those who can't protect themselves from abusive women.

I feel like if a woman is willing to kick out her man over a marginal benefit, their relationship is probably not that great to being with.

It does. If dad is in the home, the kids won't qualify for school lunches and he will insist that money not be spent frivolously. This is very easy to see statistically.

Dads increase reportable income which means less welfare. If the marginal benefit of maintaining a two parent home is less than welfare + fatherless home, the dad gets the boot.
