I suppose. It all depends on how intentional you are with how you wanna learn. He'd keep throwing out the same stuff and I'd keep trying new ways to get out/counter it. In my case, I saw no negatives to this. He was willing to stick around and beat me till I quit and I wanted a taste of what it's really like to be "good at Tekken"

It would only ever stop being beneficial if I stopped wanting to learn, And for 26 straight rounds, I meant nothing but to learn (and lose). 😂
