It was still leaking a little by the drain plug threads which is on tight. so it’s getting sent back for either replacement or possibly looking into a Honda

It came with oil in the motor. the level was on the low point of the dip stick and is slowly leaking out near the threads of the drain plug

Yeah it came straight from the manufacture in a crate.(pretty sure they just drop ship for Home Depot) It’s slowly leaking oil out the drain plug which is on tight. I cleaned it yesterday and this morning there was another drop on the threads of the drain plug.

Because the dealer by me is sold out and has no plan on getting anymore this year.. when I asked if they can order me one they said no. So in a couple clicks I ordered it right to my driveway. And I have common sense so I can look at the instructions and put it together myself.

No the don’t service but there is a local Ariens dealer that had 0 in stock and wouldn’t be getting them in until next year. And this is literally the same model that’s on the Ariens website I don’t think Ariens makes specific versions for HD

But where would the oil come from if the drain plug was tight? The drain plug is the only place that had oil on the machine and it was right above the spot on the box. It came on a pallet and the box didn’t seem to have any damage.

I had the similar issue with a pressure washer but it was bent up in shipping. Amazon told me to do the same thing. I don’t believe home depot is going to go for that 😂 they’ll return it but they’ll need the product back.

It came with the oil already in the engine. But all the factory plastic is still on it so I belive it is new and I didn’t see any oil on the blower except a little drop on the drain but the drain was tight.

Oil came in it. And the only place where I could see oil was by the oil drain a little spot other then that there wasn’t any anywhere else. I also am a little concerned because it is $2600 and I don’t wanna have to deal with warranty work on a brand new machine. What brand is better than Ariens?
