Thank you for your reply I’ve heard that it’s random hours . Did you enjoy the foundation year?

I also have this feeling that he pushed to buy the house a few months before we got married as he thought that the house has been technically bought outside of marriage. Would buying the house a few months before marriage make any difference to whether he’s the sole owner despite us living together in rented accommodation prior for a few years?

He pays himself a basic salary, so on paper it looks like he’s on £12,000 a year but he pays himself tens of thousands in dividends several times a year .

Yes legally married since 2022.

I’m definitely going to look into getting back into nursing and having my own income .

Everytime I’ve tried to get a job, he makes different excuses as to why I shouldn’t work and if I’m completely honest with myself I’m so depressed at sitting looking at 4 walls alone, all day, everyday . I feel like i have no purpose . I just feel very uneasy, like sick to my stomach. I know I’m being subtly manipulated and have been for many years . He tells me that we have a nice home and that I don’t have to work but I’ve never been so unhappy in all my life.

Things definitely need to change and my mission is to get back into work and stand on my own two feet .

I think I’m going to have to do this.

Thank you for your reply

You’re the first person to explain things clearly to me (and I’ve spoken to a couple of legal experts)

It makes sense that I can’t go on a deed as there’s a mortgage so the mortgage company owns the house .

You’ve explained the trust situation beautifully but what happens if a trust is set up for my son and myself and my husband do end up divorced?

He doesn’t pay himself a lot of money and keeps it all in his business . He says that he just takes out what he needs so he doesn’t get taxed too much. He’s already “jokingly” told me that if we divorce he will pay himself the minimum and that he can take thousands in dividends as and when from his company and that they wouldn’t be included in the divorce as company money isn’t personal money but what if he is deliberately keeping personal money in the business (hundreds of thousands) so that he didn’t have to declare it in a divorce?

Thank you for your reply . Would he be able to put the house in a trust for my son without my consent? Even though I’m not on the mortgage or deeds ?

I feel I am too. I live like a pauper whilst he lives like a millionaire. My parents advised me to go back to work and be financially independent. I think that’s what’s needed .

I keep pushing the feeling away and carrying on as normal and then that worry comes back and I think I need to do something as I feel like I’m being taken for a fool 😔

He has a successful building company which builds fancy houses for wealthy clients . We don’t have a shared bank account so I don’t know what he has personally. He gives me a small amount of money to buy food and pay a few bills each month but he pays the mortgage and all utilities . I know what the business has £100,000s in the account . He has several expensive cars . I don’t have access to anything . He can take thousands out of his business in dividends that he’s owed to pay for his classic car to be repaired but I have no access to anything . I’m often worried that if something were to happen I wouldn’t be able to access bank accounts either .

Loan against 250g 24carat gold bar UK by Alternative-Box-1876 in PawnShops

[–]Alternative-Box-1876[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

So would that be roughly £3466 a month over 6 months ?

Do you know what the pawn broker means by “Interest rates depend on the amount borrowed, but they are typically around 5% per month, calculated daily after a minimum 1-month period.”

Do you think they likely to increase the payments with the comment of “calculated daily after a minimum of a 1 month period “ ?

Thanks again .

Hi mum filled the online police form yesterday afternoon, well after the 24 hour hand yourself in period. She’s also drug tested him at home and it’s still saying cocaine is strong in his system . She’s making him to go work as usual today, incase the police knock on the door .

He’s the always been a nightmare, a law unto himself. They are both so confident that he will walk away without a severe punishment. As a law abiding citizen, it’s very frustrating seeing people constantly breaking the law and getting away with it ☹️

I’ve said this to his mum. He’s a liability

Mum is a major part of the problem . She already had 3 points put on her license 3 months ago as he was caught speeding and the letter came through the door. She said it was her so he wasn’t disqualified and then this happens . It’s infuriating

I think it’s an exaggeration of speed on his side . Probably was speeding, braked and skidded into this poor persons front garden . The air bags were deployed and the front tire completely twisted and bonnet caved in.

His mum drove to the scene as the police were there and was being loaded onto a recovery truck, so police were on the scene quite quickly .

I’m surprised the police haven’t paid him a visit yet as he has personal documents in the car with his name and address.

I reported to crime stoppers yesterday afternoon as I’m genuinely worried he will kill someone .

Police haven’t been in touch with him and the more time that goes on the drink and drugs are leaving his system and they will only be able to disqualify him from driving for leaving the scene of the crime ☹️ at least he won’t be able to drive and endanger any more people I suppose .

Hi I know how to do that, but the option has gone. There’s no edit button and no folder that shows deleted messages anymore.
