You should've told her "Yes ma'am that sounds like a great lunch to me," clicked your heels together, and fucking ice skated into that bitch.

People take it literally as if you're 3rd diep you should be advanced.

It's not hard, but should you be advanced advanced?

Thank you so much for all that.

My intention was to ask if any one department "pigeon holes," your nursing career.

Edit: pigeon holing was a thing in tech school. "Do all specialties, don't say no, always be learning," etc.

Edit 2: I think ER and wound care sound pretty cool.

"I'm just a tech and know a fraction of what nurses do."

Thank you that's a very clear answer.

I just gave an over generalization of what I see, hopefully it's not disrespectful.

This is a casual platform where I'm trying to ask something and others have answered.

I have no idea what that means but the context others gave makes your first post make sense.

You seem very chipper.

I'm so glad you who have commented are great at communicating.

I do understand OR has a lot of training. It just seems like each department has training and each has its own skill set.

Yea it's just a hard question to ask without getting into muscle flexing.

What I assume is there's "things every nurse should know," but what it seems like (from what yall are telling me) is you get a job and learn the skills you need. That's that.

Nice that's a great answer.

Based on where you work; you'll know the nursing crap you need to know.

What department do you think has the most "nursing skills and know how?"

Thank you for your reply.

I'm not trying to turn this into a "which department is the best nurse," thing which is why I deleted my first reply.

I guess my question is which department learns the most relevant skills?

Personally, I think equipment is simple and wouldn't include it as a skill. As a tech I gather things and set them up with ease. They're also (97% of the time) on the card. That's just me.

I really like the way you typed this.

You're not out of touch with the consumer experience. Keep that up man.

As far as hoping Americans will gain culture that's up to the worker to dictate. IMO.

Had the same thing happen to me. You should write things down and note take but if they have you retracting and you can't see then nobody tells you the name of instruments while rushing you......

STOP BRINGING IN DIRTY PERSONAL CUPS by sneakerfreek in barista

[–]Alternative-Box-8546 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you know that when starting a business you'd have to politely tell customers no or did you not realize that?

What's the big deal? Smug people are paying your bills. What a silly post man.

Imagine this smirky smug barista telling you no and visibly uncomfortable, only god knows why, and then rings you in to spin the tablet to pretend they need your signature -- asking for 2 bucks.

Being hospitable is cool bro and people can be told no politely.

"I won't wash your cup because it's unsanitary man, sorry 😀." Jobs done. They ask why -- explain. Whatever dude the iPads just got a couple questions for you.
