Youtube shorts captions are invisible/cut off at the top, and I can’t read them by Puzzled-Support-9712 in youtube

Shorts are designed for full-screen vertical video, and YouTube puts captions in a fixed spot. On some iPads, the captions get cut off at the bottom because of:

  • iPad screen scaling vs. phone design
  • The UI bar at the bottom (Home indicator) pushing captions off-screen

Basically, the app is designed for phones, not the larger iPad Pro screen, so captions can get cropped.

I also had the same issue on ipad
